When you said today that you felt you'd become more in tune with your body and how it responded to food and that you felt much better than you did last year at this time, I decided to have a look back to last summer and see what I would see. It's beautiful the change that has come over you in a year of paying attention to self-care and body rhythms and food sensitivities. You look wonderful. I’m starting my “health journey” for the… 15th time lol idk I lost track now lol but I needed some motivation, I loved the workout/food ideas you shared, the cats are adorable btw ❤ I was also relieved when I canceled my gym membership - I can 100% relate to how you felt about going to the gym!
So glad you are felling better. You look wonderful! I really need to follow your example and eat better. I cant eat a lot of foods, digestive problems, but having to always cook seperate meals is a pain. But you are encouraging me. Enjoy the Brigerton novels, ive read them all, LOVED it. Take care xx
I love Pilates it's so amazing for the body for strengthening and balancing and mentally it works for me too! So glad you're feeling better! I'm doing lower carb too and it's the best for my body and not smart to do keto it's just too hard on the body! When you do get a pasta craving see if they have Barilla protein Plus pasta near you. It's made from a small amount of wheat mixed with garbanzo flour. It tastes like regular pasta and it really is high protein so I feel so much better with it! Because I can never give up pasta completely it's the perfect swap!
I completely understand your choice to cancel the gym membership. I have dumbbells at home and work out using Joe Wicks or Grow with Jo workouts on RUclips. It’s really working for me and I can fit them in when I can which is much easier than having to travel to a gym to work out. Good luck with your health journey, you can do it! X
Fellow adult ballerina here! I also dance once a week for 1.5h with no pressure and it's so much fun. The group that I am in consists of ladies who either have danced as a child and are returning or are starting fresh from scratch, the ages are from mid 20's to early 80's! We're no professionals by far but it's not the goal to become one either ^^ I'm rooting for you that you are thinking of trying adult ballet

I recommend Leslie Sansome walk at home videos for an option for days when the weather keeps you inside. She has great transitions and many mileage options. It always makes me happy to see your videos in my notifications!

I felt the same back in the day when I had a gym membership. I also felt guilty if life happened (usually work) and I didn’t go, but I also didn’t like the ‘culture’ of the gym. Later I lived in High Park and did 3 mile walks (just regular walking) in the park and never felt better! (yes even in the summer 😛) - ohhh shop haul 😃! Do the vegetables chips taste like the vegetable or just like crisps? Odd question I guess, lol, but I have been thinking to try them but not a fan of beets and have never had parsnips 😊. How do you prepare you fish meals? love what you said about health coming in so many different forms (very Ayurvedic of you 😁) mental and emotional health is extremely important 🙏🏽 when I lived on my own I treated myself to flowers often and it does make a difference. Blta looks awesome!! Was that the pumpkin bread you baked?? - heehee ignore question about how you make your fish heehee! Looks yum! -. I love almond flour for my bakewells but have never tried it to bread protein before! How does it compare to flour in taste? - i have made a crust less bakewell mini loaf before and it was amazing! I do have a question though and i really hope this isn't offensive and its not meant to be. You seem to be constantly changing your diets, fitness routines and lifestyle patterns. Do you think you suffer from low self esteem or some kind of body dysmorphic condition? You seem to be wanting to change your body image on a regular basis. Me personally i think you look amazing. I don’t feel I struggle with body dysmorphia. I just want to feel healthy and strong and I’m happy with how I look and feel in my body but I’m working on making a sustainable change for my life so have been trying different things and letting them go if they don’t work or fit with my lifestyle. 🤗 My BMI is almost back in the healthy range which was my main goal as my health is the most important thing!
Were you vegan before lovely when you were travelling? I was vegan for 3 years, now veggie and my health got better a bit from vegan to veggie but now I'm considering going back to "normal" eating. Did you find that you have been feeling healthier? Sorry if I've got my information wrong though xx
