Nope "Force-fed" objectively is their strongest.
The fact that this song is more melodic than aggressive makes it more special and stands out from the rest of the singles.

Nope. His work in Lorna Shore is still one of the best. Don't judge his work with just 3-4 released songs when he has recorded couple of albums in other band.
Immortal by lorna shore is a great album, but CJ vocals have improved in immortal disfigurement (specially the screaming)
I fell in love with Lorna Shore in the Immortal era and I still love them but the vocals of CJ in Immortal Disfigurement are on another level. Insane

@@ChivalryJay Number 1, not really. I enjoy listening to this, but there's a massive lack of clarity in the way he pronounces lyrics. I know the genre is meant to be "brutal" and "messy" but I'd expect to pick up more words than I have. lol

I think There is No Light still sounds darker than this, but for the melodic style this one and force fed are the best
Everybody out here acting like CJ aint one of THE best vocalist in the genre. People forget the hype for lornas last album wouldnt have been there if it wasnt for CJ putting them on the Map, no discredit to the prior vocalist all of their stuff is awesome but they were totally under the radar before CJ joined them.

I totally agree. Now if we could just get the damn album already id be even happier lol although I guess one way to look at it is that CJ is going above and beyond to make sure it's perfect for the first official album for the new band. So far it's 2+ years in the making. "Dragged Through The Inferno" first came out in 2022. So definitely building up suspense. Regardless I am effing excited for it.
@@adamglaser366I wouldnt call myself an, "audiophile" so to say but I have spent thousands of dollars on IEMs and headphones DACs and amps. I know good mixing from bad and I will say this mixing has improved over the first few that have come out.
If you listen to dragged through the inferno you can hear that CJs voice has more sibilance in comparison to this track. The stage sounds more open as well so I appreciate the more meticulous work going into mixing, even if it is taking more time.

At this point cleans are one of the very few vocal techniques Cj hasn't used yet. I wouldn't be much surprised if we get to hear some cleans on one of the songs that are yet to come but at the same time cleans would surprise me the same because I just don't know how they would make them fit in a song. I'm excited either way
