THANK YOU for posting this! What an incredible song, these musicianship that it takes to come up with these chord progressions.. they give me goosebumps they are so smooth. You are very talented!!!
I'm glad I found this tutorial, I learned the song by ear and I've been playing the right chords but the only difference is that the chords were all 7 chords but I like yours better since in sounds jazzier
This is fantastic. I was struggling with that breakdown into the bridge, but you made it clear. Also, FYI the final chorus (the outro chorus?) switches the C chord and G chord. I think it's a Cadd9, or something really bright and major sounding. Keep making awesome videos, your stuff is way more comprehensive than other folks.
Excellent as always! I wonder if you would be game for interpreting 'The Root' for piano? It's got all the "Jimi Hendrix chords" that I find hard to translate from guitar. Is a $20 adequate for such a task?
Hi. I just subscribed and am enjoying your videos. What is the software you are using in the videos that shows the chords, keyboard chords, and pedals? Thanks Eric
I would really love and appreciate if you can teach me and my princess how to play the piano especially say so how can I get in touch with you my brother I'm in Buffalo New York
Jazz is dropping the songs faster than I can learn them...lol. I don't understand how the song is in D but the A is minor. I thought the 5 of D was perfect 5th which is major? One day it will all make sense.🤷🏾
@@Erniepotts oh ok.... I kinda get it but now I have 53 more questions😂... I literally jumped on the piano to try an see the correlation but I keep going back to A being the relative minor of C not D😥... (I jus jus to need study more.)
@@insertnamehere9154 i had the exact same question thank you for asking. I assuming its from the borrowed chords. I'm just learning really how to read the circle of 5ths.
Killer joint! Definitely my #1 Neo Soul Ballad.
I love how it bounces left and right when wearing headphones
That's the tremolo effect right there
Love your sense of humor nd love that you played til the end awesome

Hey Sabrina! The one thing to remember about music is that nothing is absolute in music.
He borrowed from the D minor scale to come up with the A minor
