You can't see the playing field from most of those upper deck areas. What's the point? The blue seats are hideous. The classic green should NEVER be replaced. Too many bar rails. Progressive Field is ruined.

Cleveland is going to run into the same problem that exists in Toronto......the event is more valuable to the team then the actual game.....CORP Gains are the only reason why projects like this exists........its not about delivering a new experience to fans....its simply about making more money...........bottom line....baseball is bull....!!

First of all, the city and the county jointly own the stadium. The team rents it. Secondly, you couldn’t have chosen a worse example. The braves had a stadium that was opened in 1997, 3 years after ours, and they forced a move to a new stadium in the burbs after only 20 years. The taxpayers paid a shitton more for that new stadium than we did for this renovation.
The point is,duh , who caved to a few cry babies, and forgot about who's paying the crazy prices, for their own financial gain? Sellout is being kind .

The only renovation that makes sense is to reduce seating capacity. Since Cleveland can't fill its ballpark above half-capacity anyhow.
