Ella, I think you need to give the papaw another chance. Looks like it needed another day on the counter top. Best way to eat: peel off the skin,, remove the seeds and then cube or slice the fruit . Enjoy!
Lol! Too much work. I just cut the paw paw. Bite away the seeds. Chew them up to get the burning juice. Spit out the hard part. Then just eat away the flesh from the fruit and leave back the skin. I sometimes eat the skin also. We in Trinidad dont slice or cube it. Too much work. Another example is when we see people from abroad eating mangoes. They peel and cube. Nope! We bite and eat. Many times I also eat the skin once you pick it ripe. Lol!
I am convinced Heze is 20 yrs. old. He even said real food taste better. Team Heze!

I can't believe you haven't had papaya. The seeds are edible and nutritious, by the way (though most persons don't eat them).
I didn't know you could eat papaya seeds. Have always thrown them away
@@staceyc9343 I never made a habit of eating them myself, but my grandfather used to (in the Turks and Caicos Islands). If you Google it, you'll see that it's provides several key nutrients and is linked to a number of potential health benefits. The same applies for the seeds of some other fruits.
How do you know all about this
@@vanessadossantos7099 I researched it out of curiosity. The same is true of some other seeds, eg., the avocado pit has high nutritional value and may he used to make tea or sprinkled on salads. It all makes sense when you think of seeds as the nucleus of the fruit.

Papaya(we call it papaw in Guyana) is a tropical fruit and you do not normally eat the seed. The fruit must be ripe and you scoop out the seed and eat the flesh. With regards the seeds some say they are good and as such eat them too. Papaya is a good source of fiber among many other health benefits.

Lol 😂 Hossana’s expression at the taste of the shrimp was priceless 😂😂and Hallelujah at the cranberries 😂😂But Ella papaya taste great, I just rake off the seeds and devour the flesh. In Trinidad 🇹🇹 we call papaya fruit “paw paw.” I looked at the paw paw you were eating Ella and it didn’t look yummy. It didn’t look fully ripe to me. I have five trees in my yard. The color inside is kinda orange red. There are two varieties that I know about. The fruit is so sweet and yummy. I eat it almost every day. I rub the skin on my face as it’s good for your skin. Many people don’t eat the seeds but I eat a few along with the fruit. The seeds are beneficial. Some claim they have anti cancer properties. They kill parasites in your body. The leaves are also good for you. If you google it you will see many benefits . You can make smoothies and ice cream, paw paw balls and many delicious treats but I love to eat it as soon as I pick it.
