it had one more in 2009. The series TMK 101 was retired then, after almost 60 years of continuous service. There's a nice video with that old series (which was totally a Croatian product): ruclips.net/video/xf03hDDjfjc/видео.html
Very good film! I agree with Timosha21 that Zagreb looks like a tram capital. Its an excellent public transport and its heartwarming to see so many kinds in service. Many modern cities, who had retired trams from the cities are opting to re-introduce them thanks to its low carbon imprint. I see that you are interested in public transports, so am I. So you have a new subscriber! Thank you so much for your sharing. Take care, ...anwar...
Die Tatras bekommen neue Steuerungen? Das glaube ich nicht...vieleicht ist dir der KT4YUt begegnet...der einzigste mit Thyristorsteuerung...dieser klingt anders.
Nikola Tesla was a visionary scientist, prolific inventor and, by most accounts, a wonderful man. He was a pioneer of x-radiography, credit for which is usually given to Wilhelm Röntgen. Here in the USA (where he worked during the last half of his life), his name is now scarcely recognised. While experimenting with remote control, he became convinced large amounts of electrical energy could be transmitted wirelessly using waves generated by an enormous Tesla coil. He never married -- Jack
Yes, and also, like in Zagreb, many trams in Belgrade are still good old Czech ones! However, because they are so old, their inside is often very dirty and stinks. Recently, they were painted roughly. That made them even more unattractive, as the ordinary paint for metal and cheap brushes were used for the job... We have very few trams that are new, and on my way to the Faculty of Civil Engineering, I mostly come across Češki tramvaji... Pozdrav Česima iz bratske Srbije!
Yo, trams in Zagreb, the old ones... they are cleaned regularly, the smell comes only, but not that often from the people who don't have a habit of taking a shower or those who can't, unfortunately... but trams, even though they are old and graffitied... they don't stink ;) Cheers!
zagreb looks like a tram capital - it has so many different tram models! awesome!
