Your readings of classic golden era comics are of world class quality with all your spot on use of sound effects and voices according to character, great for the lazy comic fan, i'm in Scotland btw so the world class bit totally applies.
@@priendly Haha, ach credit where due eh and us viewers have to make sure it's not a thankless task after all, now i'm wanting Eagle comic (Dan Dare vs The Mekon etc) and even 2000AD (Judge Dredd etc) given the @priendly treatment sometime but you're really doing great as you are and those Archies are a good laugh as well as the spooky stories being great but if you feel like branching out those 2 are a good start, i'm talking the 1982 version of Eagle btw when they brought it back from decades before, they did art based stories but also neat photo stories like the dreaded Doomlord (Master of life, Bringer of death arrrrgh) which became an epic serial.
Judge Dredd is great stuff. This is the first I've heard of the photo stories. Some day. For the near future I want to focus on horror. I have a couple of issues of The Living Mummy from Marvel's Supernatural Thrillers in the early 70s. Not sure about doing the mummy's voice. I'll need a bit of distortion.
Wow, I just read your bio and I was subscribed bc of comic content, but in my professional life I'm a Sped teacher who taught ELA for many years, I will try these out
Cool. Mostly the comics plus vids are to help maintain student's interest outside the monotonous grammar exercises. It started as just collecting more engaging material, then came the sound (essential) and finally the vids. A few of my students are just reading comics for the first time and aren't used to all the visual cues yet so the audio helps with that too. Just last week a student read (and listened) to his first comic ever, this one.
@@priendly plus how can you not love egghead's emissaries of evil I mean not only does it say what it means going the extra mile for alliteration is always advantageous

A compelling reading for a well-written story. I like the classic Marvel stories the best. 😊
Thank you, sir. I'm fond of them myself. It might take until early December before I finish but I have more Ant-Man and the Wasp underway

@@simonrhoden7869 That Egghead is certainly a single minded adversary. He'll never quit.
