The last szene is no mystake... when he goes out and hit the ball it is never a foul doesnt matter if he injured someone or not.
Not really. German referees said it was a foul. Touching the ball does not free you from not hitting your opponent. Maybe you're interested in a similar scene: Toni Schumacher vs. France 1982. Everyone nowadays knows that he had been doing a hard foul and should have been sent of with a red card. He did not want to do it, but it happened, oh, and if you're German, you maybe also know a scene where Mitch Langerak broke the nose of Lewandowski. That was a foul, as well, no matter if he played the ball.

EleKTRiiiX Let's say it was the other way around. Higuain got the ball first but he comes in so high with his knee like Neuer and hits Neuer in the face. Would you say that it would be a penalty for Higuain or would you say that Higuain went in dangerously high, which according to the rules is reckless behaviour and therefore a foul?
Goalkeepers are not special that just because they can use their hands they can jump up with their knees on head height and kill players. Higuain knew Neuer was coming and therefore didn't go in dangerously, because he could've gotten the ball before Neuer easily if he wanted to. He used his brain to not go in crazy to endanger himself or the goalkeeper, unlike Neuer (yes the rules even say that putting *yourself* in danger is a foul, let alone another).
It should've been a penalty or at the very least nothing. But the referee even gave a foul against Higuain, which is the most ridiculous thing because Higuain literally did nothing, it was Neuer who crashed into him.
So yeah it should've been a penalty and the referee's decision was ridiculous.

Honestly, if these are the worst scenes to find in a 10+ year professional career in such a difficult position, that just shows how insanely good he is.

Honestly one of the most overrated keepers recently. He’s got tons of fails that I can recall yet very few people point them out. Neuer is certainly the most flashy keeper due to his skills, but not the best at all.

das war eine klare rote Karte - solche "Experten" wie du haben auch Schuhmachers schlimmes Foul sicherlich als "Unfall" betitelt. Meine Vorredner haben ansonsten alles andere im Detail erklärt.
ich will eigentlich nicht wieder eine Diskussion starten aber ich meine Neuer spielt klar den Ball, der Rest ist eine natürliche Bewegung. Higuains Gesicht war halt im Weg (ja mein ich so xD), der rennt ja in diesem Moment ohne Chance auf Ballkontakt dem Ball hinterher. War für mich zwar eine riskante aber normale und legitime Situation, Fußball kann nun auch mal weh tun...

There are so MANY, MANY fail scenes of Manuel Neuer, where the opponent got a goal gift by him, and you've put in pretty much none... Spontaneously, I can think of Schalke - Inter Mailand, Schalke - Frankfurt, many scenes vs. Mönchengladbach, including his first ever match for Bayern, quite a few scenes with Germany, e. g. Kazakhstan etc. The video showed nothing except for 2 goals...

forward can make hundreds of mistake but if they score a single goal even by mistake they are recognised. On the other hand, gk and defence are very risky place if you do some mistake it never goes unnoticed yet they get less credit. Scoring is tough, but lot of football fans undervalue the clean sheet.

Even though I have him as my FUT goalie, I enjoyed watching this mainly cuz I don't like the cocky way he keeps running out of the net to make saves thinking he's not gonna get punished. He should have been yellow carded for 2:43 or even red.

@@EddySoler touching the ball first does not immediately says that it is not a foul, e.g. here is the sentence from the rules that Neuer potentially violated: charging into an opponent (the goalkeeper can also be called for this if his action is careless, reckless or uses excessive force). But these situations are usually up to the referee.
Artem Vovk agreed but usually a ref will let the keeper be as long as contact was on the ball first and the contact on person is not with ill intent.
