Here after a tough week and it’s nice to hear a relatable message. I usually average 8-10 weekly with occasional 10-20 weeks, but sometimes the fish aren’t biting and the weather is terrible for baiting a hook. Boring is an understatement at this point and burn out is the realest part of this career after 2 years. Recognize the signs beforehand and do what is necessary to keep your mindset positive because nobody wants to do business with a person with a negative attitude even if your abilities are superior. Thanks Dave, hope to meet you eventually.
Hey David, I love your videos. I had one question though in this video when you’re talking about purchasing Leads are all of these Leads people turning 65. Or are these just people wanting to switch policies which would only be relevant during OEP and AEP correct?
I am very interested in get this training. I am a Spanish speaker health insurance licensee. Please let me know what I need to enroll in your agency.? Thanks.
When you look at the upfront income generated from a Medicare Advantage or Supplement policy generates, less what you spend on leads, isn’t the net pretty small? At least for several years until you build up your renewals income?
My lead cost is $12.50. My upline splits the $25 full price. I do mostly telesales. I have 2 mins to gauge interest before I get charged for the transfer. Medicare pays $301 for existing recipients and in most states $601 for new recipients. The leads I get can also be enrolled face to face. The lead costs the same.
Yes, that's exactly why I don't recommend this strategy unless you have a large capital amount to get you through the first year or so. I actually require my agents to sell Final Expense first to build that capital amount more quickly while learning how to sell too!
Hello Mr. Duford, what would you need to do to make yourself a great agent? My opinion is you're a great agent but I'm a green horn, my 1st year is rightnow. Thank you
Yeah that’s all you need bro. Just block out a week to study hard for the test and you got it. If you fail the test, double down on your weak points for another week and take it again.
NEW AGENT! I just got my license and plan to take things slow this fall/ winter. Hope to be really prepared next fall.
How’d it go?
Good lead vendors help. I write 3 on phone or 2 in home each day. The leads really determine how you succeed. I have 2 I use to get the job done
I'm in Memphis Tennessee would you mind sharing your sources for leads I doubt if I'm in your area
What vendors do you use?
I sell 50 to 60 per month during SEP over the phone. Buy good leads, know your product knowledge, and hold a strong frame. It's not that difficult.
Dave, you keep it real and give real world advice. Thank you for the content and all you do for us out here.
