War Thunder Apex Predators update added French WW1 super-heavy tank Char FCM 2C bis with 155mm gun which can shoot massive HE rounds.
It doesn't have a lot of armor, but 12 crew members can work as extra armor. It's pretty hard to disable it with low tier small caliber guns.
Char FCM 2C is like a battleship - land battleship.

Finally I made a new video. It took me a little too long... Christmas New Year, and getting sick in between (also Tarkov new update lol) didn't help...

The "FCM" in "FCM-2c" is for "Forges et Chantiers de la Méditerranée" (Forges and Shipyard of the Mediterranean Sea), They built big ships (including the Bearn Carrier, Le Fantasque Class Destroyer and Courbet Class Dreadnought).
So yeah.
actually real French Navy.
(And Also the one in WT is actually the FCM "Champagne" if I remember well, the only one with the big gun, the others had the smaller canon that we saw on the trailer of the update, wish the "normal" version will shows up in the tech tree)
I hope so, I want to play the game and not give a dime to a company that deserves pretty much nothing.

@@cogcog5264 I do the same, but as a French main I just couldn't pass on the only real good recent addition to our tech tree. Grinded a bunch of GE wagers and got 1,500 GEs with that, only bought the rest.
They could also add the Normandie version with addon armor

When 2C is on enemy team: genuine misery, its the worst to fight
I haven't experienced it yet. But I have a feeling its a headache
@@DOLLARplays its either pick their crew off starting with the gunner, or bomb them since they are a 33 foot or 10m brick of WW1 ingenuity
I killed one with an Spj fm/43-44
Penned one ~10 times and still didn't kill him XD
They have an ammo rack in the front of the tank in the same relative spot as a maus it is just in the front instead of the back and it is fairly easy to pen I was killing these left and right with the italian car with a 47m lol
In this "vehicle/landship", the crew count is like HP 🙂

The most probable reason why the char 2c can go as fast forward and backwards is bc it’s electric driven, you may have noticed there’s no drive shaft connected to the transmission in the X-ray, instead it’s connected to a big barrel which is most definitely a generator, which would mean it’s most likely driven by electricity, and electric motors can go as fast backwards as they can go forwards.
The best thing about those colossal multi-turret tanks is the boyish joy like when playing with toy soldiers in your childhood. Truly the dieselpunk experience.
Also, remember the backside MG for those times you get snuck up on! It may not be able to do much to anything save open tops, but it'll at least mark them on the map for nearby team members to possibly save you from a slow death.

Funnily enough I found out that it can practically destroy most if not all higher tiers and all you got to do is go with this rule the higher the rank the closer you gonna have to get close enough to the target. P.s the best way to confirm this is by aiming for the shell to land on the turret ring.

Second version of the char 2c is the base version and the original design
FF:Tanks were originally called land battleships and given the code name tanks during ww1 so it is a land battle ship which was the science behind it the protection of a battle ship but on land so soilders wouldn't have to worry about small arms fire and shrapnel.
