They do like to nip the tails of the long lures. On my last session at Albury I cut the tail down to half it’s length and the hook-ups came soon after 👍
I use the Wynchwood RS series. I have to say I prefer it to my Greys GR80. It’s a great buy for the money and is just at home on the river as any Stillwater. As a regular at Albury I would also agree mix things up and introduce some variation into your fishing. It is always good to catch using a new or different technique.
I couldn't have found this video at a better time. I'm just about to pull the trigger on the Flow reel in 7/8wt, pairing it with a Truefly rod in 9'6" 7wt. That's really helped me make my mind up!! Thank you!! Cracking good review too. Superb video.
Blue damsel...big fish. My first rod i use to day 10ft hardy pope. Split cane, brass locking joints, agate tip ring. A 14yo birthday present from my dad. He used one ! I have it still. My reel was ???cheap. But dad said ....it only holds the line boy. I have taken salmon to 15lb, sea trout to 7lb. Will this setup stand the test of time and adventure.....
@@lindsayiflyfish Thx, Lindsay. Your review made me choose this setup. First I was looking at the Orvis Encounter combo. Wychwood is quite a cool brand with nice innovative products. Greetings from the Netherlands. By the way you just sound like Sean Connery and that is a big compliment :)

As you say Paul the RS is quite a lot of bang for your buck, thanks for watching.
