I look forward to seeing Carla each week. I go back & re-watch old videos until a new video comes out. I'm hoping 1 day she'll be able to do this full-time..My own selfish desires 😆. There's so much to be gained & learned from her channel.
I was hoping that we would have more with you and Lisa. Hilarious that she was able to use some of Becky‘s leftover storage. I’d love to invite you to the East Coast if you didn’t bring your camera. 😂
Your videos are my comfort content and the best decluttering vids on youtube, like little movies with a cast of characters that I'm legitimately invested in 😂
I don't know what you're doing to your hair lately, but it looks fantastic! Maybe that brand of whatever you're doing to your hair should sponsor you. You're a living billboard
For a moment I thought “Man, Becky could really use Lisa’s bathroom!” However I know how free and energized Becky is going to feel in her new decluttered space!!! I’m excited for both your friends! Both have beautiful views. Oh and Carla I can’t wait until you get your own little home. I too am looking forward to having my own little space one day!
I recently moved and I had a family member joke that I could open my own store. I just buy a lot of hair products. Lol. I do have myself on a no buy strike and use it up challenge. I’m learning that living with less is so rewarding. I heard today, when it comes to decluttering instead of asking yourself can I use this item ask yourself if you can live without it.

Carla, I’m so happy for this next chapter in your friends’ lives. You are wonderful for being there to support them through this stressful yet exciting time! 💗
Due to paying for a posh hotel laundry service (and calculating the cost VERY wrong 😂🤨) when I had really, really bad jet-lag, I now copy what they did and lie one sock flat on top of the other and just fold them in half. You can fit loads into a small space that way.
I feel very abundant, indeed. And it's been quite the journey, from when I moved things in and later decluttered my storage unit. Thanks for your comment, Michelle.
The bathroom is so zen, with a view from the shower of palm trees and the pool. So very thankful to have found this place and connected so well with the landlords. My neighbors are great, too : )
Carla, you are the best! I love to see how you take care of your friends and family. I love also how you take care of their stuff like there where treasures. The love is visible ❤
It’s a game. There is zero gambling. Also I think that comment about clutter and addiction is an overstatement. I’m honestly tired of people just looking for something to jump on me about if you don’t like the ad you don’t have to partake. We’re adults here.
@@TheCarlaProject Yeah, and shouldn't adults also be able to have a conversation with someone they disagree with? I agree, there are many reasons why people struggle with clutter, and not all of them are compulsive shoppers-some may be busy, overwhelmed, or have inadequate storage, etc. However, I would guess that your channel audience consists of quite a large number of compulsive shoppers because of the content. The game brings in lots of money through in-app purchases that affect people's real bank accounts, and i think it is problematic to run ads on games like that on a channel like this. I am still going to watch your content because I think you are great, I just didn’t like that sponsor and i think influencers should be aware of the power they have and take some responsibility.
Lovley work with Lisa on settling into her new home ❤. Knowing the balance of what to store as extra and what to let go of is a very fine line and it seems that Lisa has worked this out over time. Her bathroom looks fabulous thanks to the Carla touch. The whole place looks elegant, calm and practical. ❤❤❤
Lisa’s place is beautiful and the closets are amazing. Having a friend help with setting up a space is priceless. Wishing Lisa lots of laughter, health and happiness in her new place. Have a great week. Mary, Joes wife 👏👏💪👍🙏💐
Hi Carla and Lisa. Carla, I love your videos. They're positive and encouraging in an often too sober world. And it's so interesting that although I'm living on a different continent, it feels like we're just watching someone moving into our neighborhood. Greetings from Europe. 😊
This was so satisfying to watch the bathroom and closet getting set up because Lisa has already done the work of minimalizing her stuff and not keeping extras.
I love when you visit your many Lisas - it always makes me laugh that you're friends with so many of them, and if your other friends ever get confused about which Lisa you're referring to when telling a story!
@@solitudewithmichelle Wonder Years Lisa, whose closets she's helped organize twice - once a general organization of hallway closet stuff, and more recently a bedroom closet with a LOT of clothes), and Lisa with short hair, who is probably Samson's favourite Lisa, since she watched him when Carla went to Europe a couple years ago. I recently rewatched all the "Decluttering With Friends" videos (alongside the "Decluttering My Sister's House!" episodes), so it's still fresh in my mind, and I thought it was funny how Carla's circle included multiple women with the same name - must be a generational thing. I don't think I had a single Lisa in any of my classes when I was a student, but I've worked with many, and they're all around ten years or so older than me (not unlike these Lisas!)
I'm the Lisa from the Storage Unit Declutter, as well as the first episode of my new home that came recently before this one. I like getting to know Carla's friends in her series, seeing both folks I've met, and some I haven't, as well as seeing her interact with her sister.
love your videos! And I love your friends new place. For boots, pool noodles cut to fit. She doesn't like to have excess of anything..... except maybe mane n tail. haha!! Gotta keep those locks in check. :)
LOL. So I was already using Mane 'n Tail as a customer, and then did an influencer collaboration with them - so wound up with enough product for a little while. And thanks! I am so thankful to have found that place, and have really enjoyed creating a home there. And thanks for the boots tip.

I know the landlord is nice, but I thought the same thing - same with the placement of the switch and outlets in the kitchen (as seen in the previous video.) When she gets her convection oven, she won't be able to reach the light switch, anymore, and the other plug is directly above the kitchen faucet!

I really like the glass doors, that little vestibule area is nice.
