I played this recently and was pleasantly surprised. I went through the main story, Isle of Armour and then dropped off somewhere around the Crown Tundra bc life. There were a few errors in event flags at the time, for example Leon showed up at Sonia's lab at least twice to give me the Tundra Pass, and the scene with Eternatus played a second time when I went back up to the top of the power plant (and then the game crashed lmao), but I believe stuff has been fixed now with the release of Ultimate Plus.

Competive wise mega evo would have been the best if they gave it to pokemon who needed it more but imo dynamax is the best competive wise terra is close behind dynamax and i dont want to talk about Z moves Asthetic mega evo takes it
@@Idrop123 megas were a good concept though, sure they have some already good mons with them, but it did bring viability to a lot of lower tier mons, beedrill being the biggest example. dynamax didn’t exactly do much.
Call me a boomer or whatever but personally i liked pokemon a lot better before any of the gimmicks.. hard to choose a least favorite cause dont really like any of them besides mega evolutions. Tera is a cool thing to change a pokemons type but idk if i really like the asthetics of it. To me there are only two bad battle gimmicks, Z moves and Terasitilaze, Z moves are very boring and sometimes just worse than normal moves, using a life orb, choice item, berry or I dunno leftovers instead of a item that I might not even use Terastelize is also kinda lazy but at least it does not take up an item and it is very strategic In the end Z moves are the worst battle gimmicks (in my opinion)
