So after doing a deep dive into how this game works, I realized that every time you start over, it’s possible for characters to be either visitors or humans. That’s great because it makes each playthrough unique, since it’s basically random who ends up being a visitor. I also think the game encourages you to let more people in rather than turn them away, since there seem to be around five different endings. you did a great job for your first try. ✨

If you ever run this game back, the second time the bald guy stops by he tells you not to test any visitor for two days. Feed the cat cat food so no one will die. After the two days the bald guy comes back and you get a cool scene. It’s my favorite ending.

Berleezy didn’t do as bad as some of us expected (still got 10 mins left), but here are some minor tips if you decide to come back to it:
• offing a visitor leaves you with their censored corpse while eliminating an innocent is represented by trash bags (trash bags are also used for victims that got killed while you slept)
• testing yourself helps you choose the right option for when a certain someone asks for proof that you aren’t a visitor yourself
• be more mindful of people’s circumstances (like the firefighter or the smokers) bc an innocent person can also have white teeth and shaved armpits
• as you guessed; the characters+who is a visitor or not is RANDOMIZED, you can’t trust that the tarot card woman for example is always a visitor (there are a few characters that are always innocents/visitors but the majority is randomized)
• visitors can sometimes take a couple of days until they eliminate someone so make sure to regularly test them, but a fist rule is always: if you let in two visitors, someone will die
• talking to characters on a daily gives you more lore about them and some unexpected turns (both positive+negative)
• you can more or less ‘select’ which character FEMA takes with the slip so you can sometimes avoid killing them yourself if you aren’t sure since they get taken away regardless
..those are the few things I remember so far so I hope they help! You’re doing good with the multiple tests on one person so far but you need to conserve/farm more energy to keep it up🫡

I invited the tall dude, the twins, and the teenage girl early on. On night 4, Fema took the tall dude. Then I let in the fortune teller, cat lady, and the little girl (she makes you kick out the teenage girl).
When I woke up, I found one of the twins in a body bag, so I just start checking everyone. Brother. literally everyone except the little girl was a visitor.
I killed all 3 visitors, so it's just me and the little girl on night 5. Fema instantly takes the little girl, and then the pale man knocks on the door right after. My gameplay lasted 20 mins lmao. Berleezy did amazing all things considered...

Some characters are random while some are always visitors or humans. Ballerina for example is always a visitor (fun fact a special scene will play if you manage to keep her alive for a few days where she "dances"). Firefighter is always a human on the other hand.

but the main reason why you do want to check yourself for visitor signs is because its a contagious disease that can be passed to you from another visitor. some are “born” as visitors while some get it passed to them, which is why you got the ending that you did. im pretty sure the cigarettes could’ve made your teeth yellow and prevented that ending from happening.
