Ace of Base made unique sound and abosolutely rhythmic beats. I just love the beats of their songs. Listened their songs first time in 1994. I heard their every song. Love and gratitude for them from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 for entertaining with their music.
The early 90's sure were interesting. I remember buying The Sign and listening to it on the school bus. We weren't allowed to have a Walkman, so I had to hide it. The big-ass headphones from then didn't help in being sneaky.

Most of the drivers didn't care, but ours was the type that would give ride suspensions over little things. It was pretty common for things like that to be banned in schools all over the US because they were considered distractions from learning.
Jenny is amazing. One of her best performances ever. She acts out the lyrics with her hands and her dance. She dances up and down "kiss me baby I'm attractive" so cute. Love Jenny
She should be given more credit, as she sings quite high pitched in quite a few of the songs, I'm glad she did lead vocals on this one and and a few others at the early stages..Their tones compliment each other... However I do miss Lin ..

Me tocó conocer a Ace of Base cuando ya había pasado su mejor momento en México (país de grupero y cumbias principalmente) y ésta era una de las canciones de The sign que no me convencía (sacrilegio,lo sé),es que conocí primero The Bridge y me enamoré del grupo: Su música,sus letras,las voces únicas. Cuando digo su música me refiero al sonido enigmático de Edge of heaven, el pop dance de Beautiful life,la magia con My deja vu, la ternura de Angel Eyes. Y cuando conocí el disco The Sign éste sonido electrónico ochentero no era conocido para mí. Pero Ace of Base evolucionó. Conocí The Sign,The Bridge, Cruel Summer ( Flowers) y ahora conozco la esencia de Ace of Base-Tech Noir. Ace of Base es sin duda uno de mis grupos para toda la vida.
