@@ezdor8877 I don't know man, most the tournaments this year have been separated by only a few strokes between first and 20th. Not only that, but until hole eight when his finger split, he was dialed. Either way id have liked to see how it played out without the situation.
His performance until the injury will always be legendary. He was absolutely dominating the field for 2 rounds on that beast of a course. So great to watch him shine and I expect him to prove it again soon.
Great coverage of a great player. I have watched Casey for a while, and it is nice to see him get the positive recognition I always thought he deserved! Worth a Sub!!
If you look at his rounds at NORTHWOOD for Ledgestone last year, Casey plays very well at black. The kid exudes confidence in Morton. I had him for top 5 at CC, the finger situation is just extremely unlucky with timing. He did a great job keeping his head at a course that tears up pros mentally. As a Cubs fan I say, wait til next year Mr. White!
Rd3 B9 was really a shame. I'm always rooting for him. He'll be back though; his game has improved and he's young. I hope he can get a few wins, and even if he doesn't he'll be a great commentator and ambassador for the game.
He was injured! The PDGT rescheduled “2” rounds for the same day! This unfair rescheduling exasperated his finger injury!!!! The DGPT is a joke! PS The disc golf pro tour is not successful, here are a few reasons why: players, sponsored by disc manufacturers, make millions of dollars while tournaments, sponsored by the same manufacturers, pay out peanuts! It MUST be the other way around. Disc golf manufacturers don’t have professional courses that are designed for spectators and professional camera crews. Announcers never (rarely ever) mention the disc thrown or its specific weight. Announcers are not experts in announcing! Players carry too many discs. There must be a limit and discs must be weighed before each tour event. Baskets and tee pads vary from tournament to tournament. There must be a standard basket and tee pad. The adverts under the basket, those MUST PROMPTLY AND PERMANENTLY BE REMOVED!!! FLAGS ON TOP OF EVERY BASKET SHOULD BE MANDATORY! There are no (almost none) major outside sponsors of tournaments. These are some major problems. Before the tour can attract major sponsors (soft drinks, alcohol, automobile, jewelry, etc.) there must be viewership. In order to increase interest in the sport, pay outs must be much higher. Macbeth got 7 “million$”! That’s “70” 100,000$ payouts! That’s “1” player contract!!! Players need to “earn” their money by winning. Then they can eventually be sponsored by clothing, automobile, alcohol, soft drink etc, manufacturers or other outside sponsors. Viewers and fans of disc golf must demand that all these and more steps be taken to push our sport to the level it deserves to be at.
Jesus Christ, you contradict yourself on every other sentence, so if there was an /s in the end I couldnt make it there, Im sorry. Take your pills my guy and breath.
Did anyone in your life ever tell you that because you feel something doesn’t make it fact? It’s cool that you feel very strongly about something but you clearly don’t have the full picture because you are so deep in your feelings. The entire sport of disc golf has grown by insane margins over the last few years, since 2017 the amount of courses in the world has doubled, the pro tour is no exemption to this. The sponsors are getting bigger and as long as the pdga doesn’t start siphoning that extra sponsor revenue we should see payouts gradually increase as the years go on. Also I’d like to mention that the majority of these sponsored players don’t make millions, you are referring to Simon’s contract most certainly and if you break down that 10 million dollar contract you’d see he gets a million a year from the contract. Simon with his influence alone will make them that in a year so those numbers were probably reached based upon the value he brings in. As soon as you start to see other players with his level of influence is when you’ll see bigger contracts being handed out
Been following Casey for a bit now, his time is coming. I don't watch live coverage or have Instagram so I had no idea he was injured. Explains why it seemed he just choked after playing so well all weekend.
He's in my top 10 favorites. It would be great to see him win one.
I feel like, had his finger not split he would have cruised to a win. He was up six strokes
6 strokes at northwood is at most equivalent to 2 strokes on a golf course. It is most definately a good excuse

@@Falascoa My bad, i completely misread your comment. I thought you said casey should have won even though he hurt himself because his lead was so big
dont think there is anyone that doesnt like this guy, keep it up casey!
Casey is awesome, his time is coming.
Didn't know it was the middle finger. Damn.... How appropriate!

That Gannon pic lol
yeah he lost a 3 hole game against Gavin and Alden I think it was and the loser had to get a picture on the Discmania website chosen by the winner
Love this kids attitude........
Casey definitely played to his strengths and had an unfortunate turn. He'll be back.
Great video - this tourney was a tough but valuable experience for young Casey. Onwards and upwards
One of my favorite disc golfers oat

This was one of the toughest rounds to watch that I've ever seen. I love Casey though
Heartbreaking watching this unfold.
Hopefully this is just the beginning for Casey, unfortunate luck on the finger cut.

Congratulations Casey. You have tasted the blood and now you will want more. Look at Barela
😮
I do not know what the beef big jerm has with Casey, but I can say I at least really enjoyed watching him that tournament.
Casey is getting better, but he hasnt grown the balls to close out the final round
First to comment again!!!
That’s your comment?

Dang dude, no way I'm reading all that, sorry that's happened, or good job, whichever fits.
