The 'Class 43 Paxman Valenta' which they ran from the 1970s but started to phase them out since 2005, and replacing them with electric trains. Many train lovers complained. They didnt listen. Soon even passengers began to complain, as the new electric trains are actually more uncomfortable than those older diesels!

Regular link of Vaishali Express in Kanpur-New Delhi section is Wap4. Then how come it was hauled by diesel loco?
It goes to Charbagh in place of LJN hence no reversal plus NR denied for loco change at LKO, hence end to end EMD!
