They absolutely DO sound better live! If you don't like the songs from the later albums as much as from the first ones, just wait to hear them live! They sound much more raw and rock, it's great! 😁 And Connor's voice is just unbelievable live 😍

Also a huge Nothing But Thieves fan AND a huge fan of The Warning as well. Can't wait for both of their Toronto shows. I've yet to see a show at HISTORY before, but by all accounts it's a great live venue.

@@ashlenamusic I finally saw Nothing But Thieves live last October at The Danforth Music Hall (orignally scheduled 8 months earlier at HISTORY but cancelled). Do not worry, their live show is phenomenal! I seriouslly can't believe I'm not the only one who's a fan of The Warning AND Nothing But Thieves, but you're the reason I know Dany is a NBT fan as well ☺

This is one of my favourite performances and I watch it a lot (it has nothing to do with Conor looking particularly pretty in it 😁) I was waiting to see you react to the acapella bit, it’s stunning! They don’t do it live any more, I really wish they would because it’s gorgeous.

One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. We drove 2.5 hr without tickets, got in line and they said sold out. Then as we were about to walk away, they said they had 12 tickets. Whoooo, fuckin awesome night.

Their live sound is unmatched! Careful it might ruin you for other bands live. I saw an interview recently where Joe said they probably will never stop playing trip switch live because it was the first song that got them noticed in the States. I'm not sure how much they changed the setlist versus the start o f this year, they will definitely play more of the DCC. However, at the beginning of the tour they did include "Lover, Please Stay" after a 10 years break.
They played Lover please stay in 2019, I dont know if it really ever had a break
I saw them twice last month and idk how much their setlist will be changed until october but unfortunately they only played two songs from their self titled. buuuut it was amazing nonetheless

Unfortunately it depends a lot on the venue. I did experience a live concert of them in a smaller venue with crap speakers, it definitely didn't sound like in this video. But his voice is powerful enough to pass through even the worst sound equipment, I still enjoyed the show a lot. Once you start to sing along and enjoy the atmosphere, it's definitely worth it.
The self titled album is my favourite too. ❤ They did trip switch when I saw them November.

I’ve seen them three times live and my biggest regret is not booking to see them twice this tour only flew to the Melbourne show, (even though they didn’t come Western Australia) and actually the set was a mix of all there albums (May 2024).
And as others have said the DCc tracks are more rock and jammy live for sure

OLP's Clumsy is AMAZING (the album), No Doubt, I really LOVED Tragic Kingdom and most of the 1/2 the songs on the 1st 2 albums, but alfer that, they stopped the reggae element, no more wind instruments and event though I bought the albums back then, I never listen/listened to them....
