Love a bit of Braxton… never really figured out why is always first DJ up at most gigs? Far better than some others that follow him.
100% agree missed him so many times at the open air events.
I was just chuntering about this myself today whilst on a run . He is always on first - I made sure I went to London open air and first in the que to see his whole set. It was the same at 450 - on early. I went to go and see him at a colourise event and he was on later - stunning music and I get his vibes are deeper / gentler but would be nice to see him when I’m warmed up rather than him doibg the warm up. Torn , Spaces, Chiaroscuro, Cloclwork , Voices, Holding on - legend !! I can only guess he likes to get home early for the footy and cricket 🤣
Probably cause he plays more mellow beats.. though personally I'd love to hear this later in the night...
He sets the mood for the day. I seen him last on at Fabric last on and he played more upbeat was a sick set. But Braxtons mellow euphoric sets just start the day and build. If he was on last he wouldnt play such a mellow euphoric set it would no doubt be more upbeat. Braxtons a fantastic DJ and i personally turn up early just to make sure i dont mix his session. Always immaculate. ❤

Braxton (like more than just a few of the other Anjuna artists) is an absolute ROCK STAR, and this set was absolute FIRE that would have lit ANY CROWD with even the slightest acceptance of anything new and possessing an almost minimal sense of taste absolutely ORBITAL!!!
