- If this is your first experience with Raspberry Pi, and you're using a starter kit for a Raspberry Pi Zero W, then this tutorial is for you. We'll plug everything into where it needs to be, install an operating system and fire up our Pi Zero W (PZW) for the first time! We'll run through the essentials like setting up the keyboard to work properly, connecting to WiFi, and have a look at a few of the features on offer.

Very good. I've found these Raspberry Pi tutorials are some of the best ones on any topic, especially the ones where the geeks know how to explain things and don't leave steps that we non-geeks don't already know about.
Great video, well explained and thorough for setting up and using the pzw. I had mine setup in about 15 mins, never having touched one before. Thanks
Great intro! I've just received my PI Zero and this helped me a lot! Thanks!
Great to hear!
we can understand easily about raspberry zero by this video
Excellent intro clip on the RPZW, thank you!
this video very useful to teach about raspberry pi zero and i love this video
Excellent, no-nonsense video. Thanks! Subscribed.
I know a lot of people like Raspian and Noobs on the Zero, but I think ALARM is a much better choise, no DE makes a big difference. (ALARM=Arch Linux ARM)
This is helpful for Raspberry Pi 3 too.
Nice! I wonder how the Wifi is connected?
I'm having trouble installing things on my raspberry Pi Zero W. Can you help me with this?
hello, i am new to raspberry pi. Could you please show how to use laptop as screen and mouse for raspberry pi zero w. I try your video for headless, but i got an error saying the host does not exist, and trying the troubleshooting steps without solving the problem. please help me. Thank you so much.
Great video, really helpful! I did connect a mouse but how can I have mouse and keyboard at the same time since this Pi only has 2 micro ports one for mouse and one for power?
Buy a combo Keyboard and Mouse, mostly it will have a universal receiver. So one port is enough. Else use a USb extension
You might be able to use a USB hub to get more than 1 USB on the pi. There are some wireless keyboard/mouse combos that shares 1 USB receiver such as Logitech's and Rii's products
logitech unifying usbs can support 6 devices
How did you connect the keyboard to type the British pound symbol? You used the three ports(HDMI,USB, and the power socket) so where did you connect the keyboard?
This keyboard and mouse both share a single USB receiver.
How did you record the screen while setting up the pi???
sir is it nessesary to connect wireless mouse and key
board sir please help me
the power supply part is confusing....i dint get a power supply plug with pi zero, what should I use?
can we make our own laptop using some devises like display, mini keyboard including this raspberry zero....???????
Yes but I'm not sure if the Raspberry Pi is good enough for making a laptop, especially this one with a DDR2 RAM of 512 MB
What was that you pulled out of your mouse. If you had told us what mouse was that I could have looked it up. Is it an emitter that the mouse uses to communicate or was it the receiver which (in that particular mouse) is housed in the mouse so it doesn't get lost?
It was the receiver for a Logitech mouse and keyboard combo ie they share the receiver. It’s stored in the mouse eg for shipping. When in use, it’s plugged into a USB port in the pc or in this case, pi.
bro, actually raspberry zero cant run the windows 10. because, its ram is very low. then can we increase the ram or increase the storage in it by using any devise like hard disk or ram board or any other devises to run the windows 10 raspberry zero .....???? is we can or cant.
You is can yes not to yes work einfoes 10 yes not u can yes but u can not into yes
thanks to made this video
Can u tell me how to connect respberry pi zero with 3.5 display
do you need to connect to the internet?
i think you will make another video to clarify my doubt in before comment
Yes but which HDTV to use?
Does the Raspberry Zero W support Bluetooth as the RPi 3 does?
Yes it does
can you put rasberry pi 7" touchscreen on this Pi zero??
nope
Can we install windows 10 and AutoCAD in this pi pls tell
MEGHA M DEVIL no it only has 512 MB of ram and an Arm CPU and the minimum for Windows 10 is 1 gb of ram. Even the raspberry pi 3 can’t run Windows 10. It’s just to slow at 900Mhz on the 0 and 1GHz on the 3. Don’t quote me on any of this. I might not be correct.
ThatNubGamer thank you so much dose it at least support Windows7
bro how do i install the software lol i just have a empty sd card
You'll need to flash an OS onto the SD card, raspberry Pi has an official installer that makes this process super easy!
www.raspberrypi.com/software/
Why in the world do these things not come assembled??
In that sd card there is noobs or noobs lite?????
It should have the sd card in the kit
Missed out the important first steps.
Did he actually call it a microSD "receptacle"???? Usually people just call it a slot/socket.
bro, may i know your gmail please....?????
Dude you cant do nothing with this pi dont buy it it sucks trust me.
this video have no help of anything, it dont show where to get the system or what to install
