My dad and I used to play this song together when I was 6, 7, and 8. I could only play the low end. So when he'd wanna play it with me, he'd go, "I go high, you go low" and I knew he meant this song. We didn't have a piano bench, so we'd just be standing next to each other, jamming out playing. He passed away when I was 15, and this is still one of my favorite songs because of how I learned it. Your impression of it was really good.

Man, regardless of what you mentioned about two patterns together, as much as it is an improvisation it sounds as clean as an original score by an artist from the 70's
Hands down one of the best boogie woogie videos I've seen, no excessive talking & explaining, you simply see what notes to play and with what fingers
I just perfected the base now working on the treble btw self taught at piano and this my favorite style

@@BoogieRocks im 14 years old and i have been practice for roughly 3 weeks now and im in 0:16 this is very hard but i will not stop till i perfect it. although my speed isnt as fast as yours but if you use youtube speed setting mine is about 0.75 heads up to you im practicing this all quarantine!

That shit is harder than rondo alla turca. As an intermediate classical pianist boogie is probably the opposite of what I'm used to play. Once I'm able to play this I can finally consider myself a pianist.
