Hi, the amount of yolk is dirrectly proportional to emulsion, so 1:1 plus additional 1-5 drops of water when mixing colors on a mixing pallete were used. 🙂

I use two part dry white wine to one yolk, but sometimes I'm not able to paint with this emulsion because the yolk is usually too fat, that's why I should get more water. I keep my emulsion in the fridge and can use it only in the next three days.
