I’ve heard great things about Deity microphones, maybe I’ll get one soon.
This is perfect. I am planning on making a short film with a very little budget which mostly takes place in a car. I was in the pre-production stage of figuring out how to film and then you guys post this. Awesome as always!
WARNING: Don't rely ENTIRELY on your Suction Mount as presented at 6:30. ALWAYS have a Wire or Rope attached to your mount or to the Camera Strap holes and then attach that to your Wipers or to some solid object underneath your hood or your rearview mirror in case of a side window shot. This way, if the Suction FAILS, your camera will FALL, but NOT FAR and NOT hit the ground, and thus take minimum damage.
This combined with your last tutorials on the HUD and the Hologram tutorials are right on point. I'm utilizing everything you've presented in these tutorials in my next 3 shorts. That's why I love this channel!!!
Cinecom is still the best channel that i've subscribed.
Have you seen Film Riot? They’re pretty much like Cinecom.
@@CadenKoehl sure. ok
I couldn't find one so I created a Left - Right Splitter especially for hooking 2 mics to your DSLR. Similar to what you've shown at 3:22 but they send the Left separate from the Right. So in Post Production you basically split your one audio track into 2 and now you have independent control over both mics.
Wow, this episode was amazing! So many creative ways to record audio and video inside a driving car.
Thanks a lot for these insides!
Why does your licence plate say Ikea 🤣
Was typing the same, thougt by myself...
Let me take a look at the comments first...
So i end up here :-)
Really love your channel
this blew my mind with how exact it can be to get best sound for car scenes like a measurement of how far away mics should be. It's like a glimpse to how much really goes into making a blockbuster movie like The Avengers when the use actual measurements of how far away mics should be.
Awesome video, thank you so much :)
Jannick always reminds me of Gru from the movie despicable me 😂😂
Guys please watch my channel i added video car awesome please wacht out my channel thx for support 💜

hello cinecom i have been following you guys for interest sake and now it is turning into a passion for me i just applied for a film school and i got admitted my only problem is that the equipment are so expensive in my country so sad but thanks guys
I love your channel
Thanks 🙏 for all the great 👍 tips guys.
Jordy: - You should drive slow and safe!
Jordy literally in the same time:*climbing on the top of the car while it's moving*
Thanks
Awesome tutorial
Great info , thanks !!!
The thing with phaseing: doing his tipp works, but it will add a bit of delay between the two microphones. You might be able to hear that with a t. Even if its minimal i recomend puting the two mics in the same distance. Than swich mic while the actor is turning his head. This means that you need to record the mics seperatly but thats quite easy if you have a Stereo recorder or a stereo mic jack in your camera just use advantage of these. I'm a music Producer so i might be a bit picky about the audio. Please try to record the mics seperatly even if you use his 3 to 1 roule.
2:01 It's "Gain" not "volume" for when you are recording the sound
What suction mount did they use?
Jordy man best presentasion

What was the brand of the car mount?
If I use something like The Røde NTG-3, would a dead cat remove the sounds from the engine and noise in general from the driving, or is it just for wind those help for?
Just wind

So your from Belgium! Ik ook!
Dear Jordy, I come here today look for answers to my quest. hoping you will help me figure out this riddle. You may or may not watched the movie bohemian rhapsody. Well, at the live aid part, there is a very particular scene. It begins at the floor, with "freddies" shoes, then it starts moving forward to him and going through...ending on the guitarrist. I AM AMAZED by this scene. is amazing! I want to know how it was made, or at least a clue. Please help
Sincerely, Fernanda
Silly Jordy. thinks I have the budget for a go pro. Or a camera.
Hi cinecom i was wondring if you know a program thats is called motion 5 and if you use it
Are you guys from Belgium?
I'm still struggling with cinematic colours........Wish you can help....
I thought it was How to shoot a AVENTADOR S scene when you don't have one 🤣🤣🔥🔥
Is there a link to the gecko mount? I've been looking for one for a long time!
FILMCITY Car Suction Mount and an iFootage Komodo K5 fluid head.
Can you make a tutorial about car chase.?
Is this a RUclips video? It just a non-stop as for your sponsor?
You guys are good. Make an action movie
You should make a video on how to edit like shane
dawson
Oh c'mon plz Lucifer's Devil Face 🤔😈😂
Is Gain volume? I heard RUclipsrs say that it's not
You can think of gain as the level/amplification on a signal.
A quiet source requires more gain in order to obtain and play back at the same level/volume in a mix as a louder source.
I love you
Pro film makers create a fake box car with plenty of space behind the camera setup, right?
ik zou je zo graag willen ontmoeten ik woon ook in belgië mijn grootste droom is bij jullie werken en mee werken aan de video's . ik haal super veel inspiratie uit jullie video's. bedankt
At the end he is still recording the wind 😅 then in post Yannick finds out he didn't plug in the cable! Aah no problem we will fix it in post 😂👍🏼
Do a video on NF music
