It’s just different techniques, chest voice, head voice, low notes, high notes, low pitch, high pitch, deep voice, light voice, etc… Every trained singer can do that, but Britney’s voice is so rich, you can tell a huge difference between her register :) She can still sing those low tones. Beyoncé and Xtine evolved in the opposite way, they used to have higher voices, specially Beyoncé was super high pitched, and now she is extremely low.

She has different singing types. In childhood her voice was more Whitney/Tony Braxton style.. She was 10-12 when sang like adult woman lol but she wanted to do something her own I guess and she did a great one.. Even some fans are complaining about her "baby voice" it's a what she wanted. Even in "Baby one more time" she said that before recording she was experimenting her voice - she wanted some extra sounding there and she did.. from oops era she evolution that sound.. She has some good high note singing techniques as well (you can hear it in "everytime") without "baby voice"..
