I love incense fragrances. I have all the Comme des Garcons incense fragrances, including Avignon, Tom Ford’s Vert d’encens (unfortunately discontinued), Armani /Prive Bois d’encens and Matiere Premiere Encens Suave. Thanks for this video Steven. Not many perfume bloggers talk a lot about incense perfumes.

Fille en aiguilles from Serge Lutens is for me the reference when it comes to incense. Royal Incense from Oman Luxury is also missing in this listing, Encens Suave from matière première should have in my opinion a higher ranking in your list. Finally Portrait of a Lady isn’t mainly about incense, but the incense in it make it a wonderful sent. Thank you

Do you think ITS Safe AS an blind buy ?
@@chris-jy4im if you like smoky, dry, dark, woody, scents, with some musky sweet vanilla, and coffee undertones, then you would like it. But it can turn a bit animalic on certain skin types, so I would suggest you to sample first. However, if you already are used to wearing heavy, animalic, woody and smoky scents, then you might be able to blind buy it.
The longevity is solid 9 hours plus on skin, 24 hours on clothes; projection is heavy for first 3 hours, and sillage is nice & smooth, and noticeable without being too cloying. Would recommend 7-8 sprays.
But this scent is strictly for winter time or weather below 20 Deg C.

Hi, which one of those has the less frutal on it?
I used to dislike wearing perfumes with a noticeable, strong incense note, even tho I liked burning an incense stick every now and then. I just didn’t enjoy wearing them.
After sampling some really good ones however, I came around to it.
Some of my faves include Bentley for Men Intense, PDM Carlisle, and two I am about to order after sampling, the new Boss Bottled Elixir and Jovoy Paris’ Psychedelique.

Royal Incense by Oman Luxury is an outstanding incense fragrance! As is Larmes Du Desert by Atelier Des Ores.

1: 6+2 by D'OTTO - created by Paolo Terenzi and is a Selfridges Exclusive
2: Olibanum by Profumum Roma

@Redolessence it's only available at Selfridges in the UK. There are a few fragrances within D'OTTO and they are all composed by Paolo Terenzi. 1+7 is amazing as well. They are all Extraits.
My #1 incense is Interlude Black Iris!! Top 3 or 5 in my small 40 bottle collection. 2nd is Royal Incense by Oman luxury then Puritas.
