Thank you so much for taking your time to chat to me tonight , you and Solo are the reason I came all the way from cape town to Malaysia.....you made my vacation. Awesome
Bro I’m waiting for ur Malaysian vlogs ❤❤I see solo overtaking ur Malaysian videos 😂😂make some in ur style bro the interactions and funny talks make ur videos
My mom & I got back from Egypt back in September. We’re from Singapore 🇸🇬 by the way. We were greeted by the same man (at 27:27). He was helpful, no hard selling. He just wanted to share the things he’s selling. Offered my mom to cool down in his shop. It was so hot in September tho. Nice to see him on here!
What a LOVELY video this was.I have never been down this street. You are motivating me to get off of my sofa and get on a plane. Egypt does need a month minimum. It is so rich in history. It is like going back in time. Very modern in some places {6th of October} but ancient in others. As a solo female i had no problems at all. Took cabs alone. Felt very safe. I dress conservatively in general. Unless you are at the beach that is what is best. Chris you need to go back to Egypt and experience the coral in the Red Sea and the white powder sand. The islamic architecture is stunning & unique. How wonderful to just walk around & soak up the local culture as people go about their day 😊.
So, normally I travel solo. Sometimes with a friend. But when I got to Egypt this October I am doing it as part of a tour. I was too nervous to do solo as a woman for the first time but I want to see the pyramids, among other things. I was terrified and excited after booking but your videos have made me feel more excited. Thank you for sharing. I really appreciate it
✌️Good morning Chris. I myself, like you, am the type of person that likes to check out places by myself as well. Man, Cairo is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for taking us along with you. I'm always happy when I see that you've uploaded a new video. ❤
I am a 65 year old Lady and I am going to sri Lanka in February,I travel solo then will be joining a group when I get there,I love to travel and learn different cultures and see the beauty our world 🌎 has to offer❤
Agree 100%. Best way to explore is to wander aimlessly and soak up the culture, food, and drink. These videos are getting me excited to book another trip.
I almost went to egypt a couple years ago and decided not to because of all the youtubers that made it look like scam city. So thank you for showing the reality of how beautiful it really is. Now im considering booking the flight 😂
You are an awesome travel guide. This time you look unhappy and jet-lagged. The videos don’t lie. Hope you feel better soon; I think you needed a friend with you on this trip.
Diving to a new environment, places with a passion alone. It's another hormone new to human hard to explain that only true traveler understands it. It's addicting! Keep travelling.
Mr. Chris:Thanks you so much for your new remarkable video this week in Cairo, Egypt to shows these amazing places on the streets in January of 2024 after one week tours in 2024❤❤❤
Love your videos. I get to live vicariously through your travels since I probably won’t get to go to all of these places myself. I travel as much as I can in the states and love to walk around and explore. Heading to San Francisco in a couple weeks…4th trip out there and still so much to see.
Am seeing a lot who want to come to Egypt if you are coming in this time of the year come stay for 3 or 4 days to see the museums and pyramids also old Cairo then go to sharm el sheikh or Hurghada as the weather now is so beautiful it a summer weather there and you can enjoy the beach if you come in summer you can go to the north coast
Mr. Chris:Thanks you so much for your new remarkable videos from last week & this week from Cairo, Egypt to shows these amazing “Pyramids of Egypt & Other Landmarks” in this beautiful North African country in January of 2024❤❤❤
Yes, you ended in the same place you visited in your first day, Kahn al Khalili, and Azhar Mosque and al Hussein Mosque, I enjoyed your trip because I am from south Cairo, and I didn't see it since 2013
“They say no one is working as hard you, and even though I laugh it off man its probably true, cause while all of my closest friends out partying…im just sitting here making all the music that they party 2” verse remind me of ur worth ethic my guy u really outworking these youtube travel vlogs⛔️🧢
Hi Chris I’m a new subscriber and I’ve been watching and enjoying you’re Egypt videos, I’m planning on visiting myself soon and found you’re videos very insightful thank you 👍👊
The best hotel to stay in Alexandria is called "Sunshine" the night with breakfast costs around 3000 Egy Pounds, or Hotel Palestine (but I don't know how much does it cost now) if you go there you have to visit the royal palace in Al-Montazah, it still holds so much of the old glory of the city.
You said 10 days wasn't enough and that you need at least a few weeks or a month to explore. I came to Egypt in 2008.. 16 years later and I am still here.. still exploring.. still so much to see .. Great video! Funny thing is I haven't been to this street yet, so thanks for the tour ❤
Binged your Egypt series and loved it all. Reminds me of home, considering I've been living in Florida for over ten years now. One correction regarding the churches, they are all Coptic. It's a denomination unique to Egypt, and probably the oldest sect of Christianity still active in the world. It might be too late, but I recommend speaking a bit slower as the American accent can be too fast for even English-speaking Egyptians. Also, when asked where you're from, don't say US. Just say America (Amrika) and they will understand, though don't expect them to know the states lol. If you are interested in a lone woman traveler's opinion of Egypt, then I would like to give a shoutout to Giselle (Gigi) of Gventures (her YT channel name). I would link her channel, but I don't think that would be polite
I hear what you're saying. I'm going in October 2025 for 11 days. I figure 2 1/2 days for flights to and from. Cairo for two days, fly down to Aswan, board a river cruise boat, stopping at a few temples, cruising up to Luxor for two nights, fly back up to Cairo for one night and then back home. It's going to be a whirlwind tour
My only problem with your videos on this channel is you don't film in 4K 60fps with your iPhone 15... which is more then compatible of doing 4K 60fps. Otherwise good videos on this channel.
The area (Old Cairo) was built during the Fatimid Caliphate, the Fatimid came to Egypt from North Africa, that’s why you see similarities in Fas (Moroccan city)
It's great that u enjoyed our country. I got very annoyed when that corn guy didn't give you all the exchange. Next time u come here let me recommend you much more authentic amazing food places 😀
This reminds me of the open-air markets in Marrakech, except Marrakech is far more claustrophobic. During my travels, I was young and invincible. I usually went where angels fear to tread. But that doesn’t mean I was careless. There were places and alleys I knew not to go. Also, being much younger, I could run like a gazelle (LOL). I traveled a lot on trains. They were cheap and reliable. There were two classes … first class and goat and chicken class. By the way, did you ever replace your broken backpack? Larry from Texas
Hi Chris, if u extend your trip, I recommend traveling to Sharm ElSekh, stay at NEMA Bay, it is truly amazing, and there's international Airport there where you can travel to your final destination. GOOD LUCK 👍 👍 👍 👍
broo i love watching ur vids but i will suggest you to add the currency exchange thoo easier for me to understand how the price at other countries are 😂

Hi bro i really appreciate the effort you put in your videos , i am coming to Egypt i will be there by Saturday and i go home by Tuesday, if you want we can explore some places together by the way i am from Algeria

Love it !!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇪🇬
you are very directly analaysing all of Egyp histry!
Going traveling by yourself is way better than traveling with a tour. First time I came to Asia, I went to Cambodia and Malaysia by myself. Amazing.
It depends. There are places that some people shouldn't travel alone. Women for example.
Reminds me a lot of khaosan road. If you get back to California try going to the Garment District, Santee Alley. It is a lot like this.
How do you book your accommodation...?
you should try visting : sharm el sheikh ( farsha cafe) , Siwa Oasis, camping at Sinai.
Me too, I get bored with tour that’s why I always organize it myself.
Dude Jordi in Kan el kalili have better prices than in the streets
I'm actually looking forward to visiting egypt this year or maybe the next
I’m inspired, my next travel will be Cairo… I like to get a local private tour first … then venture out on my own gives me a sense of direction
Yes definitely a good idea! I hope you make the trip happen soon!
