Hey thanks for coming to the Eastgate Show! I set up there regularly, but I think I was down the part of the mall you did not have time to hit. Come find me next time you come. I've found that most of the dealers at this show are very reasonable and mostly there (like me) for enjoyment of the hobby.
@@totallythisthat I mean that depends entirely on his buy-in prices. Taking losses is fine up to a point, but do it to often and you wind up in a hole very quickly, regardless of foot traffic and word of mouth. I certainly wouldnt just assume thst he's 'making bank'.
My wife gets a sense of me enjoying something somewhere she is immediately ready to leave…. Naw jk she just hates sports lol , it’s best to go alone!! I agree there tho!!!
I’m from that area and didn’t go to the show this past weekend but have went before and set up a couple of times. The mall is def run down but the card show is always a good time & good crowd!
I only ask if I know exactly what they are worth and or what I’ll pay max. Usually I think it’s best to let them say price if not priced they will do then can counter after if don’t like.
No price listed. They go first with price. Remember you are the buyer, it’s their responsibility to provide price. Whoever goes first with the price is in the weaker position.
The baby was happy.... YAAAAAY! 😂😂😂😂 WOW man sounds like great deals...that kid dont wanna sell that if he asking $120 post superbowl lol i need to start getting outta Louisville
I have prices on all my stuff when I setup at a show, but I still have people who will hand me a stack and ask “what’s the best you can do on these” or “would you do ** on these”. Very rarely have I had anyone just buy something at sticker, maybe only on stuff at $50 or less.
I don't put prices on cards at shows. Best questions to ask is what percent of Ebay comps do you sell for. That lets you know immediately if its worthwhile or not. nice cinci video!
Genuinely curious why that dealer offered under what you offered but it’s a cool thing and I would definitely keep returning and buying from them if that happened to me!
Hey there I notice you wearing Ravens gear from time to time. You a Ravens fan? If so how did you come to be one living where you are. Curious! We travel very well normally. Take care and always enjoy your content!
Most dealers are smart and didn’t pay close to the prices they priced them at. Many will accept lower offers because they still profit. Generally Why would a dealer accept a price lower than what they paid for?!?! Many dealers also bought these singles from large lots and paid even less. In the end those dealers don’t have to sell at what is offered so what’s the issue. It’s annoying as a collector too to try and negotiate (which I think is also part of the fun) and the dealer is not wanting to play that game. Just enjoy the hobby for what it is. It shouldn’t be a get rich scheme or the money shouldn’t be the main driving force.
Seriously I can’t imagine how annoying it is for dealers all day. “Im seeing comps at $100 and $105. Would you do $80 so I can make a profit on ur cards and not you! Thanks “
Not sure if you haven’t been to many shows but this is extremely common. Dave’s the dealers fees and shipping rather than eBay. Win win for both parties.
I go to shows all the time. I’m just saying as dealer it has to be annoying for everyone buying ur stuff comping you Whst ur stuff is worth then offering you a price below said comps. I understand deals and not always asking for sticker price but at some point it’s gotta get old for dealers. How would you like it if I now offered you $75 for that zebra Brady? There’s technically a comp for it now at $90. We have video digital receipt.
Lol you clearly spent your time watching my video and then felt the need to comment when you could’ve just moved on with your day. It’s you who needs to get a life bro. But thanks for the support!

"Would you do $120 on them?"
"I'd do $60"
Bro hasn't quite figured out the art of negotiation 😂😂😂
I like people coming back !!!
He not into negotiation he into capitalism
@@ChaseTheBreaks ....and leaving money on the table 👏👏👏
I bet people would be flooding his table. Now he has to buy from less like in bulk and he's making bank

Snagged amazing deals at the mall show! Crazy bargains!

Hahahaha I feel you on this!! 😂😂
"im high on it". by high he literally meant mt everest. nice brady
He was literally high 💨
The I don’t wanna sell it price!!!
that kid wanted at least 160% of comps on everything, bad business overall. Kinda a deusche

Nice show. Good crowds, good sellers. Plenty of space and food court. Cool

Smart, brings traffic and extra money from fees
Looked like a great show. I'm gonna have to drive up and check it out sometime!

It was good seeing you Frank, this show is sneaky good im sure ill see you down the road.

Plainfield is next Sunday about 2 hours from Louisville little west of Indy
Where can I find a flyer for this show? Definitely interested in getting up there

Guess that depends on how you priced the sticker? Beckett, Comps?
It’s good show but lighting trouble
keep up the grin frank, I definitely enjoyed the card show videos.
The dealers are just going to say "shoot me an offer". Its probably best to just research comps, offer your number and go from there
Nice pickups! Love Pandora cards. And rcs I’m general. Nice strouds and bacnhero!
Always have the dealer give a price first
I walkaway from tables that don't bother pricing their stuff. Too many other dealers there that take pride and actually want to sell items.
New Subscriber!!! Cool video. Enjoyed it.
I think all cards should be priced. At least for a starting point. I dont stop to look personally if no prices
you're missing out then, do you know how much work it takes to price something that may change weekly?
@@roundingcorners I like the bargain bins. 10$ and less. Prefer not to have to wait for them to price everything.

On dealers who don’t have prices, I assume they’re free
As a dealer you should be prepared and have prices on your stuff. Don’t be lazy.
Everybody is a dealer. It’s probably 90/10 now.
what do you use to look up comps on?
Genuinely curious why that dealer offered under what you offered but it’s a cool thing and I would definitely keep returning and buying from them if that happened to me!
Probably stolen cards
Ayy your girl dad as am I also bring my wife and girl with me to shops and card shows
Next time u hit that show go str8 to that guy lol

Great video! Do you film the POV on your phone or is it a GoPro?
I think you should always let the dealer name the first price.
You still have Sears? I thought they were gone.
Man was straight giving money away. “Can you do $65?” “I’ll do $50”… “Can you do $100?” “I’ll do $60” lmaoooo wtf 😂
What mall was this? I live in Cincinnati 😭
50% comp at one booth another booth "they do $50-80" "ya im at $120" lol
Hey, are you going to trade night at through the decades this saturday?
I would definitely have the dealer name the price first. You don't need to be the seller and the buyer, make them say the price first.
Whatcha looking 4
You offer the dealer more,he takes less. I guess he likes losing money.
