Developers did a good job with this version. Controls are responsive and the difficulty is well balanced. I just wish there was some sort of variety to the level design after a few levels, but all in all solid fun to be had here.

How come your shots arent showing up? What emulator are you running?

It should work in 720p60fps or 1080p60fps. The shots show up between every other frame so if you're watching in 360p which is 30 frames per second it won't show the other half which are the shots. That's why many older Atari gameplay videos on RUclips look like they're missing action, it's because they're recorded in 30 fps.
EDIT: You can check this alternation of the frames yourself by changing the video to 60 fps and while the shot is in the air, pause the video and press either comma or dot on your keyboard which are the hotkeys for advancing one frame back or forward.
