    Our tribe uses slings in hunting, but it is always overhand as opposed to the way you did it underhand.

      @@volp5502 Paiute. In the past, they would actually kill with slings, however, now they still use slings, but only to chuck fist-sized rocks with great accuracy into canyons and brushy areas. This moves out the big bucks holding in cover.

      @@Huntnlady7 so interesting, thank you so much for your explanation. It is a fantastic weapon and tool, in many cultures like in Europe or south America it was and it is still used as a tool to help the shepherds to direct the animals. I have building and using slings from when I was a kid. Thank you again
