Im 14 and same goes for me! I literally wouldn’t have nearly as much money or skills as i do now. And i would have gone through a lot of trial and error. This channel has been a HUGE help to me!
I’m a 16 year old and I recommend you use your time as wisely as possible. Take advantage of your age, people might actually want to help you and hire you because of your age.
The steamer I use at work is so powerful that doing stuff like this is not a possibility. Its a 12k$ unit with 2 steam nozzles. It shoots out so much steam at such a high rate that I cant 'shampoo' carpets like this. But i just use a bit of cleaner, a shopvac by my side, and the steam gun in my hand. I mop up a bit with a microfiber and suck up the rest with the vacuum. Long story short: steamers are game changers for carpets upholstery leather mats etc. Great video sir!
Im 17 years old with my own mobil detailing company And I just wanted to thank you for all the help and information you have taught me in your videos, it helps me out tremendously
Hey! So I been wanting to make my own mobile detailing business ( working two jobs currently so i can save up money ) but i been wondering if you havent made a video on it yet is how did you get customers first starting off? And what would you do to keep them coming back ? Thank you for the great info that you give!
Hello, I would recommend working for family and friends first and create social media pages on all major platforms. Word of mouth will take you very far at first. The social medias will allow you to follow your customers and maybe they will even tag you and then their followers will be recommended to you. Having a relationship with your customers whether that be a mutual friend or having something else in common will make them think of you and your work when it comes to the next time they need their cars done
I completely agree with Hamie s on this one, word of mouth will bring you so far and has brought myself very far. Don’t worry about working two jobs to save up for the materials, instead, go out and buy some microfiber towels, Costco sells a 36 pack of Interior Microbfibers for $15-$20, detailing brushes on Amazon for $10-$20, Walmart carries a Gal of SuperClean degreaser for $10, get some toothbrushes, and get some spray bottles, I personally recommend the ones from Car Supplies Warehouse. All of these products and tools will cost about $80 and you can get the hang of things before you decide to get the more expensive products. Sorry for the long comment, I just don’t want you to get discouraged by the amount of products others have.
@Myles Rowe No need to hate on this channel just because he is a successful detailer who wants to share his secrets that have got him to where he is now. This channel has tens of thousands of dollars in value and it keeps growing! I personally wouldn’t be where I am now if not for this channel! Keep up the good work Luke!
but how awesome is Luke for giving his advise and tactics for free yet Grant makes you pay loads of money for all his information. Grant also only gets you about 5% ROI for his real estate investments
There’s so many drill brushes like this. Dr Brush, Drill Brush, DrillStuff...there’s quite a bit. Wilson needs to explain why his “drill brushes” are better then his competitors.
I just started out this summer, I quit from stop and shop and started it with a co worker. I honestly never thought that I would be where I am now with all the products and equipment I have, Ive been able to grow my business so much over this summer and now have around 1,500 - 2,000$ of equipment that I use and have also made more in profit
Great video! I use either a one or two gallon garden pump sprayer for carpet and upholstery. How would you rate the ability of the Renegade degreaser for cleaning tires and wheel wells?
Hey Luke! 2 things. 1: I just got the Maxshine m15 pro series 2 and I LOVE it! I honestly thought that there would be way more vibration but there is so little. (It is my first polisher however) Although after using a sawzall its pretty hard to say this vibrates (if you have a sawzall youll know what I mean). 2: When is the online course coming out? Amazing as always Luke!
I am a 15 year old detailer and you have helped me tremendously in just about every aspect of my detailing business.
Im 16 bro keep detailing man
