Greece has documented huge undersea methane gas, oil and hydrate gas resources in the Ionian Sea and under Crete, much more than Saudi Arabia and Iran combined! Cheap and safe pipelines through Italy could provide for European needs. Revenues from extraction could quickly repay Greece's foreign debt. European Countries should invest in Greek gas sea platforms, and defend Greece from neighbouring Turkey's ongoing hostility.
