I usually read Sci-fi but I am also interested in historical fiction! Thank you for reviewing this book. I will definitely give this series a look. Thank you!
I've never even heard of this book, thanks for pointing me this way. I am quite fascinated by indigenous cultures and their culture and myths. Perhaps I'll give this one a shot. Great work as always!
I think you'll like it! It's not your typical historical novel, and you get to see the Aztecs on their own terms AND through the eyes of Spain, which is fascinating. It's well told and reads like a coming-of-age fantasy novel. Thanks for watching, dude! Hope you're well. :)
I actually write sci-fi, I have not touched historical fiction just yet but your presentation about this book has me highly interested. I appreciate your method and manner in sharing your thoughts on this fascinating book. Aztecs have always held a special interest for me so I will pick this up right away.
Hey Mr. Hill, I’m sold, I’m going to read this book. You know how much I love historical fiction! It’s been a while, and I miss our classes a lot. I’ve been getting back into reading and philosophy, and I promise I’ll visit by soon!
Manu, so good seeing you the other day! I think you would LOVE this book. It's very sexually graphic, gratuitously so IMO, but it's very good. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving! :)
Thanks for the review Jordan. I hadn’t heard of this one before but it definitely sounds interesting. I did find it funny when you said you weren’t a prude and then described the behavior portrayed in the book that you felt like was a bit much. Behavior that would make the Marquis de Sade blush. Anyway it made me chuckle. Despite all that you’ve definitely got my curiosity peaked.
Thanks for watching, Sam! That book was a lot of fun. Yes, I'm not one of those readers who minds a sex scene every now and then, if it's done well and the sex serves a purpose. But the weird sex stuff in this book was highly gratuitous. That said, if you can make it through all the cringe, Aztec is well worth the read. :)
Hello, Mr. Hill. Danny Maldonado is a fake name, and I have am a student from one of your freshman classes. Perhaps it will be a fun investigation to discover who is responsible for this comment. For now, my only hints will be that I have dark hair and I frequently participate. Anyhow, you’re a great teacher and your channel seems very informative. Best regards, Danny Maldonado

Read this while in college back in the early 2000's, prob time for a reread. This is a great book that doesnt get the recognition it deserves.
