- Hello, welcome to an helpful(?) guide to STAYC! STAYC (스테이씨) made their second comeback so this is an updated guide from the one I made for their debut. It contains all the basic information you need to know about the girls and is a great place to start if you plan to stan them. This guide contains information / member profiles about all six members (Sumin Sieun Seeun Yoon J Isa). As always if there are any mistakes let me know in the comments!
Currently STAYC has no official visual or dance line positions. The positions listed in this video are from their showcases.

• STAYC - Star To A Young Culture
• STAYC got their first weekly music show win on The Show 210914
• STAYC was originally going to be 7 members but the 7th was in Taiwan trying to fix a VISA issue at the time of debut and was unable to travel back due to COVID
• STAYC’s second comeback STEREOTYPE was originally meant to be their debut
• It so rumored that STEREOTYPE was originally meant to be a comeback for APINK but was ultimately cancelled. STAYC’s producers have worked with APINK numerous times in the past and in Feb 2021 APINK’s Bomi sang a lyric from STEREOTYPE (with the same melody as the original song) around the time APINK was preparing for a comeback but ultimately they never had one

is there any plan for the 7th member to join at some moment or is she definitely not debuting?

@@MelanyBabarro As of right now HIGHUP entertainment has made no plans to add her and, personally, I don’t believe she’ll be added in the group. Especially with STAYC earning music show wins and cementing themselves as a 6 member group in the music industry
Lydia? I think she wasn't part of the lineup in the first place since that time HighUp still doesn't have a desired number of lineup (also there's Minjung, so they were 8 people) and she had a visa problems and couldn't go back to Korea because of COVID-19
Lydia and Minjung are more like trained with them but ended up not included in the lineup if that makes sense.

Is it me or all the members have a really unique voice? like, i think everyone could shine as solo with that vocals, they all would be recognizable

Sieun: High & Soothing tone
ISA: Honey/Rnb tone
Seeun: Silky and Sweet tone
Yoon: Clear & Smooth tone
J: Deep & Husky tone
Ikr! That's what makes me stan K-Pop groups. When they have really different, unique, colorful voices.
i def agree like watching this vid really highlights how unique all their voices are which is so rare in a group
This is one of the reason why I stan them, they really have distinct voices which give more color to their songs as a group. They really complement to each other, they covered mikrokosmos by bts, u might checked that out and that performance shows what we mean
Yeah they do! I think that’s why they’re my fav girl group because their voices are so distinct

i like that all of them has such distinct features so it’s easy to know the members. it’s been a while since i could recognise all members in kpop groups instantly.

I'm a MOA but I really liked their recent comeback and Stereotype is one of my fav songs of this year. I've always followed them since their debut but since I was always very engaged with my fav group I couldn't fully stan them but now I feel like this is my time to officially stan them.

J caught my attetion the most.. probably because of her deep voice and i love female idols with deep voice.. she's a bias candidate
Which idols with a deep voice do you love? I know Yuqi and Jeongyeon. Nayeon has a high voice but when she sings low it sounds like she naturally has a really deep voice. Which is interesting.

J’s peachy pink hair is my favourite styling of ANY idol. It just suits her face and complexion SOOO well.

My only flex is that I had faith in them and was on of the very first people to Stan them as there were only 50-200 followers on ig and twt and only 300 views on yt and stuff. I love them and I owe them a lot since they are the group that acc made me happy because I was streaming their song so bad and like this while talking to me now bf aha they j make me so happy because all these feelings come back everytime I hear so bad & like this. I remember binge watching every single vid of them (there were only a few) over and over and over ahah
Same tho. Since their first Music Circle performance, I could tell they had it in them along with Weeekly and I was right. They don't disappoint and ngl I feel kinda proud being with them since pre debut and watching them grow in both popularity and music. Also, seeing how we're getting to see more of their personalities and how they're getting more and more confident each comeback so that's a plus being with a group from the start. You can see the whole evolution and watch them grow.

I thought Yoon was the main vocalist. Since I like Sieun's voice the most, it was a really nice surprise to see she was the main vocalist! But Yoon and Isa have really good voices too, wishing the best for the group!! Can someone recommend me any bside track?

Their discography is currently really short (since they're still rookies) so it'll be easy to learn their entire discography!!
I think it's great that every member seems to be the favorite of many fans. My personal favorite is Sumin, especially when she's paired up with Sieun. Those two are too funny. Their pottery project videos are the best.

For now I can recognize Yoon because of her bangs, J because of her short hair, and Sieun because of her face. Its hard to distinguish the rest, especially Sumin

OMG!!! THAT’S WHY SIEUN IS SOOOOOOOOOOO FAMILIAR OMAYGHAD I HAVE TO STAN (well technically i now know how to dance asap and stereotype hihi). Also 3 of the members are older than me by a year or so ( Isa is older than me by 2 mon and 1 day) and the rest are basically younger than me and cant believe Yoon is a 2004 baby. Did you know Isa also did vocal dance covers with Hak Enter here on RUclips prior to her debut. On the day of StayC's debut the Hak Enter channel congratulated her on her debut and that they were proud of her
I'd recommend Hak Enter, since other people also do vocal dance covers there
