Thank you for making this video! I got one of these grinders and haven't used it yet. Life happened... You always inspire me. I love how you just dive right in. You're not afraid to try anything. Thank you, again!

Aww! I am so sorry and I really hope that everything will be ok! Please take care of yourself and maybe doing a lil bit of hobbies (although might sound like selfish) - can help. Maybe try to play with the grinder for 15 min only to take some of that meditative time for yourself. It heals :) Hugs!!!

I just got the same grinder too! I was a little intimated, but after watching you set it up, I feel pretty confident. I also bought the same type of solder iron and a bunch of mismatched porcelain dishes (at the thrift store). I'm super geeked!
Thank you for your free spirited approach.

Great video. I've been looking forward to and checking for your videos all week. I need to thank you for your inspiration to be more free and just "go for it" in design. Today I made a few pieces with glass slides and it felt so good making pieces that I really love. I took a pic of a 100 + year old maple tree in my yard, printed in black and white and cropped a section out for a pendant all while thinking about your tutorial. Thank you so much. This has opened up some really cool ideas for me and I'm super excited.
Your grinder is an excellent addition. I look forward to trying some pieces with porcelain as well.

I love that you took the photo and went thru the printing process! it makes it even more hand made and special! So happy! I am exploring the glass grinder now and some other new tools/materials. I will be sharing soon!! I cannot wait to share! Sorry was not uploading as I was very sick with flu :(((

So happy when i saw see you had a new video. You’re quite a good teacher :-) and by the way, I’m interested in all kinds of jewelry you might be making not only soldering, although that is the thing that I am focused on right now. But your innovative way of creating things inspires lots of ideas in general for me.

You are so sweet! So happy I able to inspire! That is the goal of this channel! Makes me so so happy!!! Thank you once again for your sweetest comment:)🥰

Awesome! I am so completely excited for you!🎉😁💯What a fun new tool to add to your creative space. I love it! I will have to stick with my Dremel for now, but perhaps I can rig a little grinding table of my own with similar features.🤔 Hmmm... I will have to think about that.
I really love the ease of use for it, and how beautifully it grinds and shapes the edges so clean. I have a little box of broken pieces to start with, but I haven't started with them because of the sharp irregular edges, so I will have to work at it.
A suggestion to protect other surfaces and to contain the splash/ spray of the grinder,....is to get one of those trifold cardboard displays ( the kind used for school projects) and cover it in a self adhesive vinyl ( like for inside cupboards) or put plastic on it. Then use that as a backing and surround for your grinder. You can find those cardboard displays in the school section of stores or dollar stores, and the dollar store probably has the adhesive vinyl too. Just a cheap and easily storable idea that might help.
I have been trying to set up a wet grinding area as well, for my Dremel, so I can carve rocks,...so I'm really loving the features of your new glass grinder.
Also that ring turned out great! And I absolutely adore your ceramic mug, very wabi sabi esque, so cute! And your sage bundle is just beautiful!❤😊 You've got some crazy creative skills going on!
Great video! I was so happy to see it was out, and it was so fun to watch.
Congrats on a fun new tool. Woo hoo!!✨💖✨

Thank you! And thank you for the splash guard suggestion! I will be crafting something for sure!! Kjirten you would Love the machine! It's 189 bucks but it's worth every penny. Maybe once my channel is bigger I will reach out to them and they would be able to give me discount code. I will then share it with you. If you have someone in your family that wants to make you a present for birthday or mothers day - I would recommend sending that the link to the grinder. Once you start doing ceramics - you will be obsessed!
      lol
Meanwhile, I thunk dermal and wet station might work. I def have seen some people using it that way. Hugging you as always!!!
There is another video that is coming on Sunday that is even more exciting!! You will love the technique I will be showing!!! ;)

@@eugeniaedits Awesome!! 😁 Today is Sunday, so I'll keep a lookout for your video. Your videos always make me smile, and get me motivated to dig in n create something.✨🙏💖 Thank you for that! Sending Hugs and all the good energy your way as well!!🫂🥰
Lol,....I am obsessed with that grinder already! 😆😅😂 I just want all the cool tools,...so I can do all the cool things!! So excited to see you treated yourself to it. You deserve to invest in you! I just love it.
Yeah, I sorta invested in me too. Recently ordered a great battery powered chainsaw with an extra battery and a speed charging unit,...it should be here by the end of the month. It was a hefty price tag, and I am going to have to have someone teach me all the safe handling and care of it,...but it's going to be my baby for sure,...lol. I got it so I will be able to do larger wood carving projects, and I am so excited to learn the new skills! Also, I have invested in quite a bit of Dremel bits, and my jewelry supplies as well. I think my piggy bank is crying,... But it's an investment towards what I love to do. I also made it a priority to do something creative every day. Either I'm practicing and creating, or I'm organizing my creative space, tools and supplies, for efficiency. I breathe a lot easier now, I think it destresses me and keeps me balanced. Also a great way to reward myself for accomplishing other not so fun things every day.💯👍✨
As always, looking forward to seeing what you're up to next. Keep rocking your stuff!🎉✨💃💃💃✨🥰

@@eugeniaedits Oh,...and by the way,....I found a thing you might want to try!! 😂
So apparently you can make small ceramic items at home, and fire them in a small BBQ with charcoal!! I'm dying to try it, but I need the clay and,...is it called a batten board,...to roll out my pieces. The person I watched was doing it with thin clay pendants ( rolled out to the thickness of BBQ skewers), and it worked awesome! So yeah, pretty thrilled about the possibilities of that. 🤯😁 My inner child is geeked out about it.😆🤣😂😂😂

    • @kjirstenboucher9682
      @kjirstenboucher9682 8 месяцев назад

@@eugeniaedits Lol,...oh and if a BBQ won't work, you can use those small microwave kilns to fire to bisque as well as to fire on glaze or smelt glass or enamels on them. OMG,...what?!
Lol,...like you need another idea,... but I'll just leave this here. 🤣 You're welcome.
