Dr. Shyam Verma a well-known heart specialist goes to his friend Narendra / Naren’s (Vijayendra Ghatge) marriage. On the way, he is acquainted with an air hostess Radha and falls for her. Later, they again face the wedding since Radha is the mate of the bride Rama. Just after, she too loves him and they intimate under the influence of alcohol. After reaching home, he finds his father on his deathbed and he compels him to marry his friend’s daughter Rukmini. Knowing it, Radha quits though she is pregnant. After a few years, Shyam visits Srinagar with Rukmini where he encounters Radha and is also aware of their kid Dipinti / Dolly. Then, Shyam divulges the happening, overhearing it, benevolent Rukmini solves the puzzle by coupling them. Years roll by, 3 of them lead a delightful life and Rukmini dotes on Dipinti as ever. Dipinti loves a young guy Amit Mehra. Being cognizant of it, Amit’s father Advocate Mehra opposes and denounces Dipinti. Despite, several requests and negotiations of Shyam & Rukmini Mehra deny. At that time, Dipinti is carrying then Amit boldly steps forward and marries her. Here, Mehra files up a case by claiming the alliance as invalid and also nullifies the relation between Shyam & Radha. Hence, Radha decides to leave the house along with Dipinti when Rukmini commits suicide and provides integrity to Radha. Finally, Mehra also repents, honors the sacrifice of Rukmini, and accepts Dipinti.
