This is a cool look at one of the best riding with his guard down, pushing on his fork, twisting knobs just like the rest of us. “How many clicks? Six?, no twenty”. Great video Dave.
Heading to Keystone in a few weeks and I've been watching Keystone trail videos till my eyes bleed - when I get sent this one. Totally blown away with how fast Sam is going then he hits Jam Rock - WAIT WHAT !! ... IS THAT EVEN A LINE !! Then that lefthander at 10:37 - I'd been watching others struggle around that wondering why? I'm watching Sam nail it saying "Yeah that's how I'd do it" - $10 I'll end up walkin it. Great video - more please
@@dcamp29 This whole video was awesome. I tried that line on Jamrock today and this video does not do justice to how big the drop is off that rock. This is easily as fast as my race pace would be and then some in many sections. Super impressive riding from both.
Wild. I could just see one of my handlebars slamming into one of those little trees at full speed! lol. Actually happened to me the other day on the trail. SUCKED.
back in the day when I raced dirtbikes, i made a point to follow someone who was faster than me. learned something new every time, and helped me become a better rider overall. what is the #1 thing you learned while following a pro?
He never put a wheel wrong all day- super smooth, easy and efficient. His riding at 90% was my 101%. Didn't learn much other than he rode 'textbook' all day and made everything look SO EASY. It was frustrating! haha
The word "smooth" really stands out to me. Whenever I followed pro dirtbike guys, they were so smooth, it was like they were flying. Smooth is fast. ^_^
Sick💪👊👊 ...wife says 'How about meet little brother and crew@Keystone? 👌 absolutely bitchn. Love Eureka Springs but.... CO. Taking the Scout a Bluepig @50yrs old loving hardtails. Peace!
You got to ride with Sam Hill? SICK!!!
Great job keeping up with Sam, no small task!!! You did great!!!!
Sam just rips those berms..thanks for sharing even though its 2 years ago 😊

I saw Sam Hill at my local bike shop
Is that a 12 minute dh. In perth west australia the longest runs are 3 minutes for the very quickest guys (im from where sams from)
Yeah- about 12 minutes. At keystone bike park in Colorado... i think the vertical is 2400 feet/ 750 meters
@@dcamp29 thats insane i think our biggest vertical is 300 ish and 3 minutes
Do you have a season pass to the downhill park, because I’ve been trying to buy one online and I can’t?
No- I'll only go to Keystone once or twice a year so day pass for me.
