Second big move: He sought out an alliance different from the one presented to him at the beginning. Third big move: Ian pulled a clutch Veto win after Dan had placed him on the block during the second double eviction. Yeah I know it's not a big move gameplay wise... but had he not pulled that win he would have been sitting in the jury.

Did you not read my post? Dan made too many enemies in the jury and the only final two scenario I could have seen Dan winning was if Danielle was sitting next to him. To say Dan played the better game by "FAAAAAAR" one would have to account for that final HoH win, jury votes, and making bigger moves sooner (like getting rid of Shane during the double eviction.) I do very much agree Dan SHOULD have won this season... but please stop acting like Ian didn't even come close. They both played good.

There's no such thing as "fair" when you're in the game. Ian got it because the jury was bitter, and fair enough. Dan should've anticipated a jury hate for him. They are all in there to play a game and past performance shouldn't matter as to if a person should win. Will played the best in BB7 and everyone in the cast agreed that he should've won. No one cared that he won already. The fact that he did win and he made it to the final two means he deserved it more because of the target on his back.

But now, in this era of BB, voting based on gameplay is GONE. Dan had to do what he had to do to get to the end. You can't say he didn't deserve to win because he pissed off everyone in the jury and being nice to the jury is apart of the game. It's a ridiculous argument.

I lied, 2 comments. Ian didn't go out of his way to create relationships with everyone like Dan did, he's just so likable... "Look at the cute little nerdy kid, omg"... Winning that "clutch" POV was pretty big, but not in terms of his game. You said he "sought out" a huge alliance, which is total bogus. He stumbled upon the 4 because they needed/wanted another member. And that huge "Perfect BB game play" chart or whatever that thing was that he has is bogus as well. Leavin it at that in comments

LOL. Ummm, i think Dan hands down is the best player in big brother. End of story. He won a season and got to the final 2 in another season by amazing gameplay. no matter how hard anyone tried to get him out, he stayed with amazing tactics and i love him as a BB player. :D

Ian made that move kinda like the Joker burnt a giant pile of money. He did just to do it, in my opinion just for efame and to cement a legacy. There was no real genius in what he did for his own game. Frank and Boogie would of never put him up and would have been targets after the double eviction, shielding him into the final 4. Now he is odd man out in the quack pack and has blood on his hands. If Ian was thinking more clear he would of kept Boog and Frank and used them as shields

You make very compelling arguments as to why Dan deserves to win and rightfully so I completely agree with them all. However the way you took my comments as to why Dan didn't win Big Brother confuses me. Winning that final HoH wasn't even about competition wins. It was about who you wanna sit with in the final two. Dan sitting next to Danielle would have swung the bitter jury. I do very much think the jury was harsh on Dan and should have based it on gameplay. That much is obvious.

Why do you say people mistakenly think "social game" is about releationships and that it's false when in fact that's exactly what is it? How you interact with other house guests and how you develop releationships with them is considered a "social game." Maybe it's not the ENTIRE aspect of a social game, but it's a pretty damn big part of it.
