Rick.....I already get your newsletter, and will be watching out for any open classes from you. I'm just up the road from you in Fuquay Varina... Godspeed!
Jack, great guest! Rick is a superb instructor (I’ve taken 2 courses with him) and an even better person. How cool to see him as a guest on the podcast of my favorite author. Congrats to both of you and thank you for your service. The Terminal List series is great, watching it again this time with others in the family and they dig it too!
Great guy, we need more people doing the job for the right reason! Leadership by example and always standing up for your guys. Too many people who are just worried about themselves, that's not good leadership. Thank you both for your time!
Loved the conversation! Shared a link with my son. He's transitioning from Guard to Regular Army. The advice in this conversation will be invaluable to him! Thanks!
Great podcast! I loved the historical moments being mentioned. I also believe everyone should have a copy of the Constitution of the USA. Gentlemen, thank you both for your service. God Bless 🙏🇺🇸🙏
I've been following Rick on various podcasts, IG, etc and he always seems like a super knowledgeable and nice guy. It's amazing to see just how many former SOF guys just have a super approachable demeanor. Not like the stereotypical laconic hard asses that people tend to think
My English teacher was in desert storm. He was my first hero and reason why I trained so hard. I always was pretending I was a G.I. Jane running up mountains and doing one handed push ups.
You should take a look at training with Scott Jedlinski from the Modern Samurai Project. He excels in teaching folks how to effectively use a red dot on a pistol.
The members of the 82nd I encountered in Panama shot at us more than PDF, how many borders for mustard stains were redacted in the 82nd for just cause? They were the opsec breach w/ the media which alerted the PDF, I cant imagine why that general froze. By the time they arrived 2 hrs late Torios Tocumen was secure all 58 objects to include securing 300+ international travelers security. The 82nd was without a doubt the single biggest obstacle for the Ranger Battalions in the invasion period. RLTW
Thank you Jack for having me on the show and all your support for helping keep Duco's memory alive!

They can’t be. Especially not SF. Their stated mission set is foreign internal defense by, with and through all the way.
What a well spoken cool Green Beret with awesome stories
Not just green beret, but well-liked and legendary Unit member

Never used a closed emitter on a handgun. Never had an issue with an open one though???

I'm hearing that Black Rifle has gone woke. I know that woke can be somewhat subjective, but is there validity to that?
