This piece reminds me another shiro sagisu's piece from Kimagure Orange Road "Taking a walk around a fountain" The soundtrack of this series has some pieces that remind KOR and others similar to the Neon Genesis Evangelion OST. So beautiful!

Everyone is like: make a remake. Nah, the world has enough remakes. A recut would be fine. Make one that includes episode 14, unlike the Nautilus story cut, delete the african episodes and trim the Island arc down a bit.
The part about the africa episodes that I hated the most was when Nadia had a crush on somebody else RIGHT AFTER THE UNDERGROUND NAKED BEAR HUG WITH JEAN. It was so out of place.
I heard miyazaki was stressed out by episode 22 and he left this project so from 22 - 39 someone else finished up this series had he finished this I'm sure it would of been a masterpiece
