Idk what I'm watching but I'm super baked and beyond interested.
Lol, same🤣🤣
This game is called crokinole, really easy to pick up And a high skillcap! Good fun ..
Why do I hear penguinz0 commentating
Camden Elliott he literally just posted a vid commentating on one of the finals!! Lollll
VegaTron2020 Yeeesssa! Uh what? Check yourself buddy, critikal did a commentary vid on this exact vid, and I was saying it was cool how the comment foreshadowed this occurrence.
@VegaTron2020 Yeeesssa! ... how could he have found this video if the critikal vid just came out and his comment was a year ago. But to be fair, critikal made an iconic vid on it a couple years ago now.
@VegaTron2020 Yeeesssa! are you super dumb?
@VegaTron2020 Yeeesssa! lol I was wondering what do you mean by Charlie finding out this video, I assumed you were not dumb
LoL
CAN WE GET AN ANIME OF THIS GAME ALREADY?!?!?!
"My name is Justino Slatersake, and I'm an 11 year old kid from Tokyo... after discovering a dusty old Crokinole board in the back of a game shop, I learned that it contains the spirit of an ancient Crokinole master who longs to play the game again. Together, we will battle our way to the World Crokinole Championships and defeat The Syndicate, a seedy organization set out to use Crokinole as a means to control humanity!"
@@k0nidias Justino Slatersake also has amnesia in the beginning.
Was that the description of Bakugan or beyblade Cause I can’t remember, either way anime does make any sport/tabletop game infinitely more entertaining.
@@Peter-xj1wq the anime Baki made MMA infinitely more entertaining. It's a netflix original. Don't be turned off by the seemingly homoerotic style of drawing the characters, it is a seriously brutal and awesome show with intense fight scenes.
34 minutes of high octane drama... The best video I've seen in this chanel. Thank you so much and congratulations to Justin!
dromadrosis I started watching and made the mistake reading the top comment. Thank you very much!
K9 Rootless yea I know.
Edge of your seat action! Not edge of THEIR seat, mind you... they are comfortably positioned far back in their chairs.
Had to watch it in intervals so i don't get too moist
I dig the ref’s safety vest uniform.
I dont. Hes not thinking safely enough. WEAR THOSE SAFETY GLASSES
The most amazing conclusion to a match that I've seen in crokinole. You couldn't script more drama!
7:11 spectator getting into it, love it
I will now watch 2 men flick checkers across a table for half an hour
World Championships? Y'all couldn't spring for some chairs that didn't squeak?
it's part of tournament standard issue
Absolutely explosive start
Came here after Charlie made a video and then I saw Justin Slater replying in the comments being really friendly with everyone. Seems like a genuinely cool community!
Big crowd
Inflippincredible! Conrad is a master, but Slater is a natural. Cheers to Crokinole centre for making these videos!
Conrad used to be my math teacher at Cameron heights😂
Far out. Clutch final game from Justin. Such a fascinating game, I can't believe the "World Championship" is played on card tables and plastic chairs in what looks like a high school gym.
I can tell how happy and enthusiastic the yellow vast dude.
Yea the vast is looking really yellow too.
It's purple idiot's.
Jon Conrad is truly a master at his craft.
CROKINOLE FOR LIFE
Merci pour ces vidéos !! Ce jeu est vraiment bien 👍
I did not think Conrad would walk away with that first game, Slater is usually such an assassin with his shots. He redeemed himself at the end of game 2 for sure. Incredible game! A lot of mistakes, but so many amazing clutch shots under such pressure.
CONGRATULATIONS SLATER!! Amazing. Perfect game to take it home.
Can't wait to compete in the REC division this year :)
BOOM!!!! TETRIS FOR JEFF!!!!!
*SPOILERS ALERT* What an amazing game, probably one of the best I've seen lol... and that last round for Slater after the number of missed 20s throughout the match... Amazing & congrats dude.
Man, these seem like genuinely cool dudes. What sportsmanship.
Harrison Ford, a great crokinole player! Who woulda thunk it?
Real talk Crokinole is super fun
How to i get in on this action? I feel like I could be a prodigy.
It's 4 am and the 5th day in a row I see some Crokinole and I have to admit that Mr Conrad OWNS crokinole
Is there a Crokinole glossary anywhere? Hammer, roll away, circus twenty, peel, etc...
Thank you for the idea. I've put one together that will hopefully be helpful: crokinolecentre.blogspot.com/p/p.html
CrokinoleCentre spectacular thanks!
Hammer = last shot advantage
Roll away = to play your disk onto the opponents leaving yours on the board and sending the opponents to ditch
Circus twenty = bounce your disk off several pegs in a circular motion and it lends in centre 20 hole
Peel = same as roll away but both pieces go to ditch
Ditch = the area outside of play where disks end up.
No idea what going on but it’s two in the morning (on a school night btw) and I want a game board now. I also agree with the comment suggesting this should be made into an anime lmao. I’d binge watch it right away.
Keep hearing "John Connor"
This feels like the equivalent to coming back down 3-1 in the finals
Do you think Slater's shorts could get any tighter? It's no wonder he was losing.
WTF is that god damn noise in the background. Jeez!
The orange chair Conrad is sat on, which means the game has already been rigged! 😎😜😂🤣👌
HOLY SHIIITT
This guy Conrad is on all videos? Harrison Ford?
No entiendo nada alguien me explica que pez?
what is krokinole and what is krokinole
What table are the using for this tourney?
That was intense! But i don't get the rules at all :(
I don't understand this at all and it's really funny to watch
Хочу рубаться в неё с Дружищами под музон... Думаю сделать самому такую. Что за "битки" и чем они их натирают?))
The steady hand of the ref tho
i just come to see my man Conrad "The Conrad" being fucking destroyed again :/
Armando
25:55
Le mec chemise rose derrière est hypé de ouf !!
Normal vu le coup qui vient d'être joué..
At 8:52 I gasped loudly and scared my cat XD
And at 25:55 I did it again.
7:03 el hombre de atras se excito jajaja
Ref looks like heat miser
Its Justin "fuck ya later" Slater
We’re inside but I better wear my high viz vest
RUclips will never know me
The judge (?) appears to have alien eyelids, lol. Look how he blinks!
If I was a betting man I would've put $100 on Slater, the guy just doesn't make many mistakes.
Fuck! The game cost no less than 330$ on amazon🙋♂️🕺
You go Han Solo!
new to the game... could someone please explain the tournament scoring observed here? I'm only familiar with the 20,15,10, 5 scoring method... this seems like some kind of match play... thanks in advance...
A bit late to reply. But how the scorimg goes is that if a player wins out a round they are awarded 2 points. If players draw in a round both players are awarded 1 point. A game is won with 5 points and first to 2 games wins the match.
However, I have also seen it where there is 1 game and first to 11 points wins the match
I think technically, in this tournament, a game lasts four rounds, if a game is tied after the four rounds, a tie breaker round is played. But yes, if you reach 5 points you win the game.
But how do you win the round?
@@coolcustomer31 first to five
How the fuck is this my youtube recommendation?!
Atras estaba Hutchinson jaja
I would politely punch whoever is making that noise. How annoying.
The faces the judge makes. is he tired? is he dumbfounded? is he bored? is he having trouble breathing? who knows.
I've never lost a game of crokinole in my life and had never heard of official competitions like this one. I watched out of curiosity to see how good they are. Once a 20 is missed and they are playing the takeout game I'm just as good as these guys, but they make 20's at a staggering rate. Not sure I'm ready for this just yet, but if I practiced my 20's as much as these geeks probably do I might be able to challenge them! Unfortunately I have a life so I just won't get in quite that much practice ...

Wtf is this?????🤔
The ref looks like he just wants to go home
Flicking checkers into a hole? And why the fuck are they taking notes after a game?
They're obviously keeping score
@@anthonys3587 There's no ref to keep score?
@@jamesgray7064 this is also common practice on chess. and on classical chess with longer time controls both players mark down each move they make.
@@stardustie I understand the reason in chess, but doesn't each "round" start anew in Crokinole? I'm sorry, but I don't really know the rules.
Thank you for your explanation.
Ehm, not the most photogenic guy sitting in the center..
Moist
im convinced the judge with the orange vest is not real!
