The best thing is, Mani is not judging the anchor who shares her experience like she's gone through more hurdles. It's a sensible questioning and brilliant answers altogether. But the bitter truth is, however, she compares her life and hurdles with Mani and his struggles. She is still heavily privileged than Mani, who spent 18 years building his career to reach this place, whereas the girl hosting him is just 21. It easily shows the girl is already 18 years ahead of Mani in terms of privilege. So, she should reduce comparing her life with the guests; instead, she can relate to it, but comparing is obviously not the go-sign.
@@swathiamu5834True. And this is not just her. Most of the Gen Z thinks they've or they are being through some hard battles in life while the maximum they'd have seen is being trolled/mocked by someone and their public image getting affected. Gen Zs are usually financially very well off, privileged, supplied with all sorts of support to grow up. That's not the case of Mani or any one who grew up in times of Mani. The millennials, Gen X, Gen Y, Baby boomers toiled so hard to learn things, getting education, fight caste hindrances etc. At times, Sameeha tries to behave like she's a very matured host yet her experience proportionate to her age shows up very often and proves that the kid has got a long way to grow (not in terms of hosting skills and asking great questions but in terms of understanding the society, politics, economy, people etc.)
Bang on guys. A good and sensible tamil podcast by a 21yr girl. The question are not repeated and she asks the speaker the question that even we have in our minds. A definite takeaway in each video nowadays. 1 request from my side there are lot of podcasts for interviewing popular star so you should do this for many unsung heros of our society. Be yourself dont try to portray someone else. Ask question so grounded like how you would ask to the person sitting next to you talking about life. ❤
I felt like this interview and Manikandan was talking to me when he said "kavalaye padadheenga" ..Exactly my situation in life, trying to set up my own digital magazine and consultation services (law) ..As he said, our family will have questions every day.. its justified because our family will worry for our own good..but we must try to believe in our vision and balance family + goals somehow.. Thankyou for this I wish all of you a great journey in life..
Absolutely refreshing to watch , No cringe , so natural and So much class .. Tech is also good , clear voice and right exposure too.. All the best for you .. hope you reach much higher.

I have liked Manikandan since his time in KPY itself. During that time, I used his script in schools. There is no doubt that he has had a long journey in cinema. Good luck Mani😊
I really love how Real the conversations are on your interviews, please don't stop making content due to hate comments. This channel is one of the very few who don't try to actively sell something, the topics you pick with the mainstream artists are so refreshing because I really wanted their take on them Keep doing these episodes
Fantastic interview! Manikandan, please work on your animation film especially for children as audience. In India no-one makes films for children. I am 70 yrs old and a retired teacher and wish for good children movies.
Very matured , organic interview , we can literally see u put proper effort for the interview . You have very good articulating skills ❤ , kinda dominated manikandan in this video nd its not a easy thing to do 👌🏻👌🏻
Posting this comment with the best of intents. I understand a podcast conversation need not be a typical interview, but let the interview be more about the guest (the RJ Balaji interview for example), let them finish their views and staying on track with each question will also be nice. Of course, it is your podcast, and you have the sole agency of its direction, but as a listener I was expecting to know more about Mr. Manikandan. All the best. Keep going. 👍
FRIES WITH POTATE keeping on going, you’re doing great. More than cinema, there are many good morals and ideas to takeaway from your content. Congrats for your work and all the best for the future 💐💫
Just started to watch this video for Manikandan and I am amazed by the interviewer.. This girl speaks with a clear mind and the way she tooks us to the conversation seemed very natural..Potate you earned a sub

I liked the questions and the conversations. But it will be good if you allow the guest to speak more and reduce your point of view/experience. Felt like it is an interview to know more about you.
Did you choose your outfit based on the background or vice versa because your entire outfit just 🔥 clicked with the atmosphere around you. Another W Podcast. 😇
You should definitely interview Rajinikanth!! Generational gap questions and how an actor outcomes their fear of it ...and the trends of digital platforms taking over theatre...and all of theseeee....
VJ please listen to the people you invite. Every end of their answer dont keep saying same happened to you or understandable and add up your stories. Though it look good, you cant simply conpare their success journey. You have to travel lot and i wish you should reach more heights. It looks awkward to see nanum than yenakum than yenna mariye and all.
I too had the same point, I didn’t watched the other interviews she took. But in this it amplified my respect for Manikandan the way he given her the space and at 11.59 to 12.10 he waiting for her to complete though he very much knows she having the eye contact with camera and not with him while saying her story. That shows how humble he is.
Dear Sameeha, trying to convince Indian parents for something is not very easy. I understand. Even as a male who is comparatively privileged, we don't get to convince them easily for a job, relationship or marriage we like. And as a girl and Muslim, it might have been even tougher for you. But convincing parents to start a RUclips channel and convincing them to marry someone outside of our caste/religion is not the same. Convincing parents to start a RUclips channel and Manikandan struggling to earn a decent spot in Cinema for many, many years are not the same. It can't be equated. And you said, you wanna quit this space for hate comments? That's the hardest battles Gen Zs usually face? Well, that's just level 1 of life bro. The guests you host are older and wiser than you usually, it would be better if you can treat them as one and give them the space they deserve rather than trying to imprint "I also faced similar thing" now and then. No, you didn't. You faced a struggle but it is nowhere close to what your guests have endured.

Felt the same at some points in interview with Sean Roldan
She is not compared herself with him, she is just sharing her story that's it

Yes ofcourse
It's so refreshing to hear sensible questions instead of the usual "how was your experience with heroine/director/co-actor". Loved the interaction 😊
Manikandan’s understanding on relationships is something young people should listen to carefully. Very meaningful.
