All the Nagas tribe gathered and celebrate hornbill festival there at Kisama do visit during the festival it will be held in the first week of December every year.
thank you to the two young men selling coffee. atleast you interacted with May on behalf of all of us. it seemed like a very hurried visit. hope you will come again during the hornbill festival and spend some quality time in Kohima.

The Morung is a key institution of the Nagas, and also the center for social life of all the unmarried male members of the society. It is the place for the young boys where they learn about social practices and beliefs from their elders.🙂

I visited Manipur, Assam,Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh in 2019, they were very beautiful places 🙏
In the Garo Tribe habitation, the house where unmarried male youth or bachelors live is called Nokpante(Morung) .The word Nokpante(Morung)means the house of bachelors. Nokpante(morung)are generally constructed in the front courtyard of the Nokma, the chief. The art of cultivation, various arts and cultures, and different games are also taught in the Nokpante to the young boys by the senior boys and elders..
Please visit to North Indian and south indian, cuz, there is huge no of places like historical places and climatic conditions of every place is just awesome 😎 . Well India is diverse country and therefore you find something new everywhere.

Morung is just a home in simple word but it's everything to nagas, it is a place where Naga youths are trained and educated in the olden times, educated here means like culture, traditional songs, handicrafts, etc. not that of today's education.
