He is 52 years old and his name is pronounced with a Y, much like ja being yes in German. He is one of the greatest vocalists around. You can hear the bluesy David Coverdale of Whitesnake in his vocals. You really have to react to The Raven Child by Avantasia which has him sharing vocals with Hansi Kursche of Blind Guardian.

Jorn has also made several albums with Symphony X vocalist Russel Allen under the name Allen/Lande. he also has several other projects other than Jorn/Jørn Lande, like Masterplan, Vagabond and Ark.
Ive bin on board with Jorn Lande for over a Decade. He sang for Yngwie Malmsteen and many others on top of Black Sabbath. Hes from Norway. Born in 1968... hes knot new on the block. Hes got a very strong foot hold on the Heavy Rock Scene.. hes really known for doing a lot of Dio covers. And he covers them well.. also a lot of David Coverdal covers in his early day. Check them out. He sounds just like Coverdal.
Yeahhh there it is! I actually don't know really that much about him. But his voice and how he walks around on stage holding his mic... it's in his blood! At some points he holds the mic pretty far away from his mouth. Guess there's some power in it

He toured with Yngwie, wish he had recorded with him. He also has done projects with members of TNT (Vagabond) and early Whitesnake (The Snakes).

I love jorn in pentakill he's a amazing singer.
His voice is a combination of David Coverdale and Ronnie James Dio with an ability to sound exactly like either (he has covered both).
the whole dracula album is great, I think that is what got me to listen to everything else he did, Swing of death is such a fun song.
That's my favorite album of his. The Snakes are a fun listen too if you're craving his Coverdale side.
