despite a lot of those compliments being cringey, i dont think hyunjin was mocking stays. the goal was to make each other laugh, that's why they all were saying them in funny ways, like seungmin and jeongin used korean dialects and jisung was stumbling over his words in korean and saying it with a funny intonation. all of them were doing it lol but maybe it's harder to catch if you don't know korean

It's not exactly that they are mocking the comment writers. They are just trying to make the other person laugh because that's the concept of the game and the best way to do it is read with a weird voice.
