Whenever Olivia is part of these things, seeing her is like the clouds moving away and the sun warming you. 💛 What a sweetheart! The rest of the cast and crew, too, is absolutely amazing!
I was thinking the exact same thing. I know from her background she grew up in England but she’s an American citizen and she’s been in American television shows for years and has always spoken with an American accent when on talk shows. The last few years she’s done a lot of British television. She must actually speak in a British accent and was faking it for American audiences. One of her parents in probably from England.
@@pauljackson2473 almost right. Her parents are American, but she grew up in London from age 2-11. At that age kids learn to speak and in the UK kids go to school age 4. And then she moved back here 20 years ago so…
@@pauljackson2473 It's not something she puts on/fakes. She's bidialectal. So she has a natural to her American accent and a natural to her British accent. Whenever she does a specific regional accent of the UK that isn't her own, then it's a willful switch. For interviews she just does her own.
Congratulations Gillian Anderson, you are incredible
A bunch of excellent actors on this season! Specifically Gillian, Olivia and Helena.

About Diana, I wonder if she got over the bulema after she split from the family? Or she had it the rest of her life?
❤❤❤❤❤
I’m just wondering why Gillian is speaking in an English accent. Of course her character in the show is English but in real life she’s from Chicago.
She was born or grew up in England i think. There are videos of her explaining this. Look it up.
