Important note : to add a new layer without the need of clicking add a new layer Icon, assign a keyboard shortcut to it, and click and hold alt + the shortcut to make the process 10x faster / smoother
What the difference between using a shortcut and holding Alt + Shortcut ? Sorry for asking, could just check by myself but I don't have PS near me at the moment and I feel like it would be quicker to ask you directly.
@@ksemi If you clicked the shortcut without holding alt it will add a new layer but a menu will pop on the screen every time you click the shortcut which will slow the process and make it even harder than clicking on add new layer icon, if you want the layer to be added immediately without a menu hold Alt before clicking the shortcut

Combine it with other techniques like Blend If, Inner Glow or some Blend modes depending on the desired effect and we have the ultimate way of lighting. This method is open to be merged with a lot of techniques, I personally will be using it a lot in my future works / videos incha'Allah, I hope it makes it easier for you to paint light / shadows, I will be exploring it's ways and benefits even more in the shorts.

Only one technique is being shown, it's just being shown in three different images.
