I had a Korean student who came to Iloilo starting Grade 2. By the time she graduated high school, she was fluent in English, Filipino and Ilonggo! She even sang Filipino songs.
They have adapted so much that even their mannerism, and their personalities matches more of us Filipinos.
Mabuhay kayong lahat.
For someone who is working here in S.K now, this video made me homesick and realize that there's no place like home talaga.. mabuhay Philippines and S.K

All of you speak Tagalog (Taglish) incredibly well! I grew up in Manila way back in the sixties and seventies. My school in Makati, Colegio de San Agustin, had some Korean nationals who also spoke Tagalog very well back then. The Philippines has always been known as the melting pot of the East so having Korean-Filipinos and/or other foreign nationalities only makes a lot of sense. It's part of what makes the country strong and so special! Mabuhay Filipinas!
Gaano mo kamahal ang Pilipinas? ● *"bahay ko na ito. It's my home 🇵🇭."* ● *"I just born there(🇰🇷) pero noong dumating na ako dito(🇵🇭) for good talaga diba ."* ● *"i feel more comfortable, i feel more at home pag nasa pilipinas ako"* ● *"malaking bahagi ung naging buhay ko dito sa Pilipinas so mahal na mahal ko ang Pilipinas.."* Ang Ganda ng mga mga sagot nila. Ang mga tunay na nagmamahal sa pinas.🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰
Millions of Chinese are just like you -- born there, raised there. But it still feels like a novelty to see Koreans born and raised in the Philippines. Give it time. ;)
Based on their accents, I would say Eunyoung Kim and Sam Oh have the natural Filipino accent the way they speak. Even their intonation is natural. If I'm blindfolded and just listening the way they speak, I wouldn't think twice that they are foreigners. Jinho Bae have also good Pinoy accent, except most of the time he is speaking in Tag-lish.
Maraming salamat.
Ingat kayo lahat. PART 2 coming soon Guys LOL!!!

I'm glad we have so many Korean communities alrdy everywhere mostly living in subdivisions. Ang galing nung last interviewee. Ang lalim ng Tagalog nya.
I cried watching this. Thank you for loving us Filipinos. We love you all dear Koreans! We're so proud of you. Ang husay ninyong mag-Tagalog. Maraming salamat Dasuri. I am your avid fan. God bless you all!
Wow, i like this vlog Dasuri. Thanks to all of you sobra kayong nakakahanga for embracing Philippines as your home country. Sorry I forgot the name of the host na 36 years na sya dito sa Pilipinas. Unang nakita ko sya sa tv nag host nga sya sa Bench...akala ko pinay sya kasi ang galing managalig, but when she spoke korean to the bench model a korean don ko nalaman korean pala sya...i was then amazed for her fluency in tagalog and even her body movement is like pinay. Thanks to you guys. God bless you all.

Aside of it, Maraming salamat s inyo. sobrang mahal nyo tlga ang Pilipinas kahit n kaming mga Pinoy, hirap ng mahalin ang sarili nming bansa due to political, social and economic instability.. that's the reason why leave our own Motherland..

Pero ate Das you are so adorable, yung accent mo po, yung way ng pagsalita mo, and your expressions, It's the best. Parehong pareho po ng mga pilipino. Koreans are very grateful and humble people. they really express their pasasalamat to the Philippines for the help of the Philippines during the war in Korea. You are always welcome Korea!
i'm more amazed at how despite them living here in ph for most of their lives, they're fluent as well with their origin's language (korean). something that a lot of filipinos who grew up in other countries tend to lack-appreciation of one's own ethnicity and culture
As a filipino born and raised abroad, I can tell you that many filipino parents didnt/ don't teach their children the language so the children can better adapt and assimilate into the culture and society abroad. Many turned to lack appreciation bc of how they were bullied and discriminated against, or it's just that their filo parents didn't teach them about it. I can tell you that there are filos abroad who hold some grudges against their parents for not teaching them about filipino culture and language, so they find ways to learn and reconcile the missing pieces of their filipino heritage by learning Filipino and taking part in cooking filipino dishes that they missed out on growing up. I know how hard it is to imagine growing up in a place where your ethnicity can cause problems for you, but this is the reality many people who were born and raised abroad.
My Nursery school was owned by Korean missionaries. I never realized its importance when I became a Christian myself, years after. Kaya thank you, Koreans, for loving our country. ❤️🙏

Wonderful vlog. It's interesting what their origins are. Hindi magtatagal dadami narin ang mga Korean na fully integrated in to our society like the Chinese and will have many positive contributions to our country. Dapat may part 2 : What are the cultural shocks that they experience when they go back to Korean compared sa Pilipinas!
Ahhhh…Salamat sa inyo ..so happy din sa inyo…kahit wala ako sa PILIPINAS..Pilipino ako Pero umalis ako ng bansa dito sa Canada …But still in my heart kung sino ako…at mga ank ko dito ipinanganak ..Pero nasa puso din nila ang bansa ko..kaya Salamat sa pagmamahal nyo din sa bansa..#Happy new year 2023 …spread love and peace sa lahat🫶🏼🎉🕊🇵🇭🇨🇦❤️
Maraming salamat mga koreans na nagmamahal sa bansa namin, katulad ng kdrama na naging part ng buhay ko, I love kdrama so much, I have lists of my fave koreans actors/actresses, I think koreans writers of kdrama has a brilliant ideas in creating/producing kdrama, I was amazed by their extraordinary, realistic concepts in producing kdrama, thank you again for loving our country
Si Jinho nung una akala ko pinoy talaga siya na singkit lang...pang nagsasalita ng tagalog on point hanggang sa accent...kaya nagulat ako nung nalaman ko na pure Korean pala siya...napapansin ko din kahit nagsasalita na siya sa Korean, minsan may accent ng tagalog kaya ang alam ko talaga magaling lang mag salita in Korean pero pinoy talaga...same with Sam Oh..akala ko tlga nung una Pinay din siya..or half pinay since OH ang apelyido...
Amazing! I’m impressed with lots of Koreans learning to speak Tagalog real well. All of you speak Tagalog better than me and I was born in Manila. Definitely love this vlog. ❤❤
You are doing a great job from doing that I left the Philippines 1987 I'm base here in down under I didn't realise marami na palang pilipino korean sa pinas mabuhay kayong lahat at maligayang pasko.
Dasuri thank you very much for this content in your vlog. It was so interesting to watch those Koreans who speaks Tagalog fluently as well as questions you ask to know more of how they came to be in Philippines and how they love the country. Kawili- wili panoorin at nakakatuwa din cla.I know there are more Koreans who speaks Tagalo g and have their own You tube channels at present Hana Cho & her brother now in Korea, Lia friend of Jessica Lee,etc .Maybe you can interview them too .
how jhinho talk, move, react, think, and being funny is what filipino is,mas marami pa sya alam at experiences na kwento sa pagiging pinoy, kesa sa mismong pinoy.
Do more contents like this!!! Or immerse yourselves in Filipino culture more like learning/doing traditional dances and Filipino games (palaro during fiestas).
To my point of view why foreigners either Koreans/Japanese/Americans/Europeans etc stayed in the PH for good is because Filipinos are very hospitable/friendly/simple/forgiving/loving people. If you will respect/accept and show kindness to them, they will also give back the respect and kindliness you showed to them also,so that is why foreigners choose to lived/stay in the Ph for good because of this traits Filipinos have. I salute this Koreans for loving and considering PH as their second home… good job ate dasuri…👍👍👍🇵🇭🇵🇭
Nakakatuwa kayong lahat. Mun jae op so yo! Ghamsa Hamnida! Saranghe ma ne yo!
Isn't it that Ms Sam O used to be a cooking show TV host? Sorry, I didn't know she's "half-Korean." I feel elated and proud sa apat na guests mo. Sobrang matatas sa Tagalog. I used to teach English in a Korean school here in Q.C.
They speak better Tagalog than me. I still speak Tagalog but its hard to pronounce certain words. This is why I watch my Filipino shows and listen to Tagalog musics. Specially SB19. Us always thank you for your vlog. It’s a way for me to connect back home. Mabuhay Philippines and Korea.
I'm seriously impressed how they have assimilated to the culture and language of the Philippines if I did not see their faces or heard their introduction I would have never known they were Koreans. Dasuri, Thank you for sharing 😊
As a Filipina American, I absolutely LOVE this!!! I am not fluent in speaking tagalog, but I can understand tagalog and Pangasinan. I can't even be jealous, I just love the fact that they have acclimated to their surroundings, community, embracing the Filipino culture and language. All of you essentially have the heart of a Filipino. Thank you for loving and supporting my homeland. Love, your até in Detroit MI!
Ms. Sandra: (Going to Korea) I'm just having a vacation. Kakain lang. Filipino blood is flowing through her veins.
I can watch this vlog over and over without getting tired of it. So natural and genuine. There’s something about a newfound friendship between Koreans and Filipinos that emerged during the last decade. We both realized the similarities in our cultures and learned to appreciate each other more.
Nakakatuwa, ung ganitong vlogg na koreans, nagtatagalog, experience nila dito sa pinas, kung ano masasabi nila sa kultura, gawi ng mga pinoy,.. its not comparing sa country originate, walang halong pambobola...... ang ganda talaga panoorin, nakaka libang, alis stress nga, pag gusto mo mapangiti, tumawa, maaliw ......nood ka ng vlog ni Dasuri Choi....keep it up
Very entertaining content indeed! I enjoyed watching the whole video. So nice to see famous Koreans who are so Pinoy at heart. Maraming salamat po sa lahat for loving the Philippines! Rest assured that we will love you back a hundredfold. 🇵🇭❤️🇰🇷

Amazing! I’m impressed with lots of Koreans learning to speak Tagalog real well. All of you speak Tagalog better than me and I was born in Manila. Definitely love this vlog. ❤❤

Do more contents like this!!! Or immerse yourselves in Filipino culture more like learning/doing traditional dances and Filipino games (palaro during fiestas).
Ang gagaling nila...mag umpisa sA host...ang galing...
Isn't it that Ms Sam O used to be a cooking show TV host? Sorry, I didn't know she's "half-Korean."
I feel elated and proud sa apat na guests mo. Sobrang matatas sa Tagalog. I used to teach English in a Korean school here in Q.C.
She is full blooded Korean. Imagine 36 years na sya d2 sa pinas
@@tonyku7129 I know, Sir @tony ku, but in the vlog, she said she's more Pinay than a Korean now. That's why my double quote.
Thanks for your comment.

I can watch this vlog over and over without getting tired of it. So natural and genuine. There’s something about a newfound friendship between Koreans and Filipinos that emerged during the last decade. We both realized the similarities in our cultures and learned to appreciate each other more.
