- Guys... we are DONE lambing!!
But this group was such a joy to work with, I sort of wish it wasn't.
In this video, the last few finally delivered their babies and I was able to calculate the results of this fall lambing group.
I was so HAPPY!
In the fields we are still getting some field drainage tiles fixed before we become too busy with soybean harvest.
Dr. Rex came to ultrasound our December group, again with really good results!
...but of course, not all is rosy this week... the boys once again found the drain plug and proceeded to flood their pen.

I just wanted to tell you Sandy Brock you are so special to me! I have 2 radiation treatments left for my breast cancer and it's been wonderful watching videos about new life. So much is gloom and doom now days, it's uplifting to watch you, Jess and Mark. Glad Jess is getting her life back. Thanks so much 🙏 💓
Hi fellow cancer patient! I've got colon cancer that metastasized to my lungs before we found it...
But, like you, I'm fighting the good fight (with Jesus on my side, of course!)
Sending you blessings and best wishes! ❤❤❤😊 - Diana
Anita, wishing you the best care and outcome 🩷
Sandi has a way of resetting what life dumps on us. Take care 🌻

Good luck Anita I wish you a clear outcome. ❤ from PE Eastern Cape South Africa 🇿🇦
@@DianaJG8 I wish you a good result! Stay positive ❤ from PE Eastern Cape South Africa 🇿🇦
Let’s just take a moment to appreciate Sandi’ genuine elation when Freckles was giving birth. Her joy that freckles had a girl, really moved me. Just beautiful ❤❤❤🙏🏻
Sandy - I'm hungry and tired.
Ewe - I'm in labour - shut up!
😊
One of the sweetest things is when these Momma's look so proud and they either communicate with noise, or touch their baby and look at you or even push them towards you.. it's like they are so proud and want you to see what they did. Absolutely beautiful! It's shows how loved they are and that they want to please you for the love you give. It's amazing!
CONGRATULATIONS on a successful lambing. Well Done Sandi!
Yes it's like they are saying "You helped , and made this possible for me. Thank you Momma Sandi."
This is the first lambing since I started watching where she didn’t have to nurse any lambs in the warming bed etc. good job.
I’m drawn to the lamb with the black leg. I’ve been watching out for him since birth. I think he should be called Lego. Short for Leg O’ Lamb. Congratulations on such a successful lambing season Sandi!
What a perfect name for that little lamb! It's one of my favourites this group.
Can we "bully" Sandi to keep this one, too?
@@willieallan953we could suggest it, but remember as much as we love all the sheep, they do have their primary job for the food chain. The rams in the flock are kept in groups for specific purposes - the Rideau rams breed ewes to hopefully raise future girl lambs to join the breeding flock, while many of our favorite rams like Lucky the Suffolk, the two red Tunis boys, and Billy, sire babies that will become food. There have been ram lambs like Lego before, that captured our hearts - but I don’t think any of them joined the permanent flock.
I agree with you; Sandi needs to keep him and the name Leg O!
Sandi thanks for posting these videos. Helps make my day. Alaska here
@patpierce4854 Of course, it's a business, and that has to be the main focus!
That was a tongue-in-cheek comment, recalling how many people wanted Sandi to keep Pita!
I can't get over that little lamb with the one black leg. So amazing and cute; not that all the lambs aren't adorable. What a great way to start a Thursday. ❤
Isn't that just an adorable leg?!?!? I had names, from the time of birth, rolling through my mind: peg leg, bolt (from lightning bolt), black lightning, etc.
@@susanturcotte3176 Oh I love "Bolt"....lol.
@@susanturcotte3176 I thought “pirate” for the black leg
Don’t cows get something called black leg??
😂😆🤣😆 There’s me thinking you give your sheep a clostridium vaccine just before lambing, and yet one of those sweet babies still got “Black leg” pmsl 😂 😆 🤣😆
Yes people it’s a joke!
Sandi, I just found your channel a few weeks ago, I cried with you when Ruby died. I too farmed for 25 years, but not Sheep, Tobacco, Cattle, soybeans and vegetables. I love your channel and if I was only aloud to watch one channel it would be yours. It is so good to see Jess smiling and doing better. Thank you for taking the time to video because I know it takes time to set up the cameras and move them around, again thank you and God Bless!
Addicting huh?
I love the birthmark lambs. I would have such a hard time not keeping every one of them that had unusual markings.
❤ Just what I needed!!! Thank you Sandy. Without this particular video I would not have made it through the day. You can over ride any crisis in my life!!! ❤ You save me Sandy ❤Thank you 😊 And that lamb 🐑 with the one or two black eyes 👀 is a keeper for sure.
Agreed!!!
Me too. Been having a rough patch lately but there's nothing to make me smile like some lambing time!
I would have to name that one Baby Buttons.
@@valerierobinson8872 Good choice! ❤
I look forward to Sandi's vlogs twice a week. I get a refill in between on her Instagram channel, too. Watching the whole family is nice.
Love how Kenzie is helping out by testing the bedding before it’s spread out !
I am SO HAPPY there was no preg tox this time! Praying this is the start of a long-lived trend….💖🐑💖
Sandi videos make my day just that much better. The farming and cabin building ones expand my knowledge and the sheep and lambing ones feed my need for "Awwww!" Thank you, Sandi and Mark for sharing bits of your lives with us. Jess, thank you for being the inspiration you are by sharing your story. How is Jack enjoying his new house?
And the love this family shares with each other is amazing it’s like you all roll with the flow no matter what you come together as a family should and fight the battle as one. God bless you all.
Isn't it amazing that we have a unique insight into someone's life that we see only on video? Most importantly, I think of Sandi, Mark, Jess, Jack, and Carissa as my FAMILY.
@@susanturcotte3176 Agreed!
The lamb with the black spots around his/her eyes is very adorable. Looking good Jesse. I think the ewes think you're their human mom . So very precious the relationship between you and your sheep.
Hard to imagine how long it took to lay clay tiles in fields.
I love lamb races and "lambnadoes" so fun! Thank you Sandy for the uplift that you're continuing to share. Thank you THANK YOU❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the tile explanation. Im not a farmer but i live in a rural area so ive learned a lot over the years my daughter asked about the rolls of tubes in a field. I could finally explain. Because up till now i had no idea what it was. Thanks for making this mama seem smart. Lol
I really appreciate Sandi’s explanations. As a city girl I have learnt so much. But why are drainage tubes called tiles. Tiles to me are flat. Can anyone explain this, to a dumb city girl. I’m guessing it’s a historical name, when the pipes were made of terracotta???
@@LoveLiveCruise exactly
Good for Mark! Steering you away from the fast food. We think it is so yummy. It is so bad for us. I have really been bumping up the fiber. I asked my surgeon after colon cancer what was i missing? FIBER! I can do that. One round withe C is enough. Im still not very active, but the baking gets me moving! Bran muffins with molasses and raisins. Also using ground chia seeds, flax seed, & hemp to add Fibre and other nutrientsi make double batches. Freeze half so i don't have to bake as often. I add multi grain to bread in the bread machine, I hand finish bread. Zucchini breads today after a trip to the camp. Choc chip and ginger cookies yesterday. It must be back to school time, fall, need cookies. I know you are so busy to bake and it's not your fun time. A couple of very simple recipes that you can add the extra fibers and fruits, cranberries to just make morning so up lifting. Plus the good results for our health. I make biscuit mix, 4 to 6 x's the recipe, add ,milk powder or just use milk when i make them. I love your hair cut! You look 10 years younger! It is so heavy when wet. Mine is so thin now, deficiencies, my tail is as small as my index finger. I love the excitement when you get Tunis lambs, so pretty. And the lamb with black eyes is too cute. Hug fiber!
When I was little we had a wet area beside our house. So,it would drain out to the street they
Inedible it with clay pot like tubes, something similar to the clay lining they put in chimneys. It wasn't very deep so it broke over time, especially when the neighbour parked a dump truck to close in the spring. I think it is the clay products that get the tile name.
Me too! Lived in an ag town all my life and never knew what that was.
Sandy..Your BaBa families, your human family and especially YOU bring me Joy and Hope! Thank you so much for ALL you do! With much LOVE..~sistakathi~
Your Kelce blush is adorable! I figure their relationship is either a live-romance novel or a great new album. Win either way!
Your lambs and sheep are amazing! We love seeing them! 😊
Sandi, I'm seeing multiple folks online saying the bees, wooly bears, and persimmon trees are predicting a COLD snowy winter. The bees are in southern Ontario, and the wooly bears are in the US South. That's a big cold winter.
So many precious lambs. Thank you,Sandy for making this video. I needed a dose of adorableness. 😊
Really good to see Jess with that great big smile ! You got this like a champ !
Sandi, what a wonderful way to end this lambing group. Well mostly. You had the flood to clean up. Those lambs just steal your heart. And the dogs interacting with the sheep are cute to watch. Kinsey has become a good sheep dog all on her own. Then there is Piper. She's trying to get the one sheep to play by laying on her back, but sheep not interested. Then the lamb on the run. Your plans are made for the next group and you're ready to roll. 💖🐑💖
Your so wonderful and genuinely care for all your animals, ty for sharing your life with us
I just went with my daughter in law for her first chemo she has pancreatic cancer. My son and his wife have four children, the youngest is three. Cancer is a hard battle and I’m glad that Jess has a smile back on her face. Please Sandy, keep taking care of yourself…take time for just you.💐
Blessings and prayers to your daughter in law and your family ❤
Sending love to everyone reading this, from Baton Rouge, Louisiana!! 💙💙
@TaraWilson1010 Love back at cha from Vancouver BC 🇨🇦
Loving the new panda lamb!Adorable! Thank you for my therapy sessionS. You work really is a multifaceted blessing!
Piper has turned into such a good sheep dog! This sure has been another tough year and for some reason, going into fall, I have a feeling of a little bit gainful improvement. We may cry or just plain get emotional but as long as we have a little glimmer of something hopeful, we will carry on.
Sandy, I hope all the tile work you and Mark have done keeps working! Thanks for the recap of the fall lambing! All the lambs are so cute 🥰! Piper did really good at cornering the little escapee lamb😁! Good to see Jess enjoying the cabin with you and the pups❤! Thank you for sharing bits of your lives, take care 🙏🏻🤗💕!
I adore lambing videos!
I vote for Lego and Panda as names.
It's so good to see Jess's health returning.
Watching those babies zoom around melts my heart🥰
I love the lamb with the all black leg and the one with black eyes! Sandi, I wish I had 10% of your energy!
Oh those babies with the spots of color around their eyes just melts my heart. Thank you again for having so much with us .
You got some beautiful colors and markings on this group of lambs. The black leg and black circle eyes just born are my favorites.
Lego and Panda 🐑🐑❤️❤️
Piper is really figuring things out. She is much more comfortable and confident around the lambs.
So glad the universe took it easy on Sandi this go-around, she needed it ❤
Lucy🐕is just so funny with the way she interacts with the sheep! Take care Sandi, Mark, Jess, Jack & Carissa ....have a very nice weekend👍🏻🐑🐏🐑🐏🐑✌🏻
Living in Kansas City it is CRAZY here with all the Travis and Taylor NEWS !! GO Chiefs !!
Love the little Lambie with the "goggles"!
Oh so sweet. Tgat one little lamb needs to be named Black eyed Pea. So sweet.
The little lamb falling over at 29:38 had me laughing out loud! You and Mark are quite the team. I'm beginning to think that there is nothing that Mark can't do. I'm so happy Jess is doing so much better! I watch for her videos as well. I hope Jack is doing well, he is remarkable as well. You have great kids, and they have great parents!
Hi Sandi, a lot of positives with your lambing, always good to see for Sandi's sake. Mark doing a good job with the drainage. Love to Jess
Love from Mike. ❤
That panda-eyed lamb is cute! I wonder if this pattern could be passed down to his or her kids 🤔
I enjoyed seeing how deep your rich top soil is...and you are good stewards of it. Love these variety blogs.
Lambing season is done, for now.. I so enjoy the videos that Sandi makes and being retired now I can watch them when they drop at noon!!❤
I like to wait a few hours so's I have remarks to make to those who've aleady commented.
Piper rolling in the straw with the ewe watching was adorable. So many memories watching the recap. Thank you.
THANK YOU!! I am also obsessed with the brothers and their podcast... Love Jason and his wife as well!!!
Glad Travis has someone in his life, HOPEFULLY she's kind to him, as he seems like he is truly a good man!!!
With people introducing two new words into the Sandi lexicon (i. e., sheeple and lambnadoes), I see at least two new tshirt design possibilities for the shop.
Love being able to come home from college and watch ur vids sandi😁 I’ve been really stressed with exams, papers and my job so it’s so nice to see lamies and field work 🥰😁
When I see a new Sandi video posted, it absolutely makes my day! This has been such a challenging year, emotionally and health-wise for your family and to see Jess at the end of this video looking so pink, happy and healthy was just the cherry on top. I'm so glad that this fall lambing went so well, you and Carissa both deserved it. The little lamb with the 'spectacles' and the other with the black leg are just extra adorable. I'm so grateful you share these parts of your life with us. Thank you!
Hi Sandi! The little lambs with the black and white spotting are so adorable! The little one with the black eyes and the one with black hind leg are so cute!
That number six is the cutest thing ever.
This lambing has some particularly beautiful lambs! ❤
I gotta say, my interest in your channel was initially the sheep--not only because lambs are cute, but I also have taken several animal management classes at university as a part of the Agriculture program there, as I want to become a veterinarian. It's been super interesting applying that knowledge to your videos here! But you've piqued my interest in crop management, now, too lol. It really is all so much more difficult and complicated than a lot of folks may realize, and it's a *LOT* of stinkin' work. At the end of the day, it's folks like you that make the world go 'round--the folks who keep us all fed and clothed. Farmers deserve nothing but the utmost respect for what they do 👍
Sandi, Thank you so much for sharing, it really makes my day when I see your video drop!! the little lamb with the black leg looks like it has a cast on. LOL but sweet. the cabin is coming along so nicely! it's great to have a little getaway not far from home and work! ❤
Twenty year breast cancer survivor. Grateful. Your team is amazing. You work so hard.
My prayers are with those who are still in the tranches, fighting cancer or other life altering illnesses.
Sandi, this batch of lambs has been the cutest ever!!
Continued prayers for your harvest safety
Love from WV 💜 Pam
So happy you had a smoother process this time and no pregtox! So many cuties this go round, may they continue to grow and be healthy.
Great job Sandi, Thanks for taking us along.
I love how Sandy gets excited with her ewes over their babies. SO CUTE!
Still, after all this time, my favorite part of Sandi's lamping is her BIG smile and the "Hello, Welcome" to each new lamp. Even through the tough times, Sandi and Jess's positivity has made me smile. Thanks for sharing.
Sandy your videos always make my day ,but sad lambing is over because I can't get enough of new babies there so beautiful ❤️
Those eyes omg😂 I want that one lol this one was so quick I bet you are glad I’m not I love it I told Jess you did a great job on that reading area
You are so more confident. What a good and knowledgeable Shepardess you are!
I am so excited that you are trying this with your fall breeding!!! Cannot wait for the Spring Lambing, it's going to be such a new experience now!!!!
Perfect score that you love of 2.2 lambs per Ewe for Summer Lambing!!!! New Book Club Excursions with Jess!!!! Cabin getaways with Mark!!! New House with Jack!!!
It gets gets better from here!!!!!!
My days are COMPLETE with Sandi and her Sheep!!!
I'm one of Sandi's Sheeple!!! Cindy Ings NL, Canada
Lord my eye started twitching when you started talking about Taylor Swift. Closed the video, came back and fast forwarded through it.
I had forgotten about the lamb with one black leg! So many super cute markings. I am wondering if Freckles' lamb will have freckles, too. Thanks for the video. I needed this today!❤
It's wonderful to see how you interact with the lambs. Trust on both sides. It's awesome to see the lambs all running in a group. I just love it. ❤️ 🙂🦋
Ah Sandy, who are you kidding, of course we are all watching every video you put out lol😂😊❤
Is there anything more sweet and adorable than baby lambs? I think not, unless it’s Piper being a sheep dog and wrangling those babies. You channel makes my day, and I really needed that. ❤
I love your sheep, dogs and your family. Makes my day to see all. ❤
Oh my gosh you have a Zorro & the one with 1 black leg! Gods handiwork such blessings! I just loved the lamb olympics towards the end of the video! Congratulations on your success rate! Look forward to more.
Enjoy your day. Love from me in Port Elizabeth Eastern Cape South Africa 🇿🇦❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Panda (Zorro!) and Lego🐑🐑❤️❤️
Another fantastic video. Thanks for showing the tile work. Hi Mark, hi Jess.
You had some really beautiful lambs this time!
So many cute lambs in this group!
What a wonderful way to end lambing !! Now on to the next ! Lol
Sandi, I am from Kansas City area and have always been a huge Chiefs fan. Trav is THE BEST! I got to party with him at Power and Light bar before and he’s a ton of fun! Super excited that Taylor gave him a chance! ❤️💛🏈
Taylor will have a whole new album about football players and the ups and downs!
I'm from the KC area. Taylor & Travis are having fun together. If it is more than that, that's great. Yes, Taylor grew up in the Philadelphia area, and has been an Eagles fan for most of her life.
I really hope Taylor doesn't screw up this wholesome son. She has a tendency to leave her lovers somewhat broken.
Love the lamb with the eye patches.❤
I just love the noise that mamas make to their newborn lambs. So cute!
I think the ewes chuckle as they're cleaning off their babies.
Sandy, you are the best! I watch your videos over and over again. They make me so happy. Thank you for sharing what you do!
Another AmAzInG, inspirational, fun filled video~you never cease to amaze me Sandi. THANK YOU for being YOU❣️😘
Little 'Bruiser' there with the black eyes!!!! So cute!
Glad you had a better round of lambing and that Jess is doing well. FYI...Swifty is Southeast Pennsylvania born and raised so makes sense to be an Eagles Fan. Eagles old coach now runs the Chiefs. The brothers are cute.
Love from PA!🥰🤗
That cutie with the black eyes needs a sweet name. My choice would be Bandit, lol.
You and Jess are just so funny regarding Swift and Kelce...Your eyes went bright, and your face lilted up! So unexpected! just loved it...
I’m so excited to hear that you are syncing your fall group!!! Whatever you can do to make your job make more sense, you should do it.
That lamb with the black eyes is adorable!
Is Piper tangling with Kinsey? Cheeky little puppy!! 🤣💕💕
Such a crazy year so far. Thank you
So many gorgeous lambs in various colours and they are all sooo cute 🥰. Glad that this lambing was much easier for you. 💕from Irene in Perth, Australia 🇦🇺
I hope that you keep the black eyed one. What a big cutie ❤❤❤❤❤
Watching and I about died laughing over Travis Kelce. Soooo funny. You make me smile girl. Thanks. 😂😂😂
The end of lambing always leaves me with mixed emotions.
On the one hand I feel excited that you and Carissa may have a little more free time to enjoy the things that get pushed aside during lambing, but on the other hand I'm totally selfish and end up feeling that I won't be able to live my farm life vicariously through you. 😊
My youngest sister's boyfriend has a goat farm which I absolutely love going to, especially when I take the grandchildren.
The goat farm is 2nd generation and is delightful, but I'm excited to note that this year he has bought sheep finally that he has added to the farm. (I'm stoked)
I'm hoping that by my rambling on and on about your videos I have somehow influenced that decision. 😊❤
The adventures of farming. I love it when you show us all the aspects of daily farm life. Sorry about the barn water but it does make life interesting.😊
Hi from Chiloquin Oregon ❣️👋 sending love and prayers for all of you!! ❣️🙏
My sister and family used to live at the fish hatchery in Chiloquin.
The little lamb with black around it's eyes ❤❤❤
So happy to see Jess out and smiling again. ❤
Currently recovering from spinal surgery, and cute lil' lambs is exactly what I needed after the rough night I had!
Thanks for bringing us all along on your journey, Sandi!!
