Love this show for including characters who are relatable to me and my friends, with hardships and situations teenagers do experience these days. Also it's very interesting to see a piece of Australia's culture represented in it. Truly beautiful series
This is so heart warming and yes I can agree everyone might have there moments where a part of the show was relatable and I’m one to relate because the not only beauty but the way it was put together was so well done to the point I felt that I was in the show because of how relatable it was.
It'd be sweet if there was less of a focus on sex, i feel like the legacy of shows like Skins and others that followed like Shameless and now Euphoria, have had a lasting impact on how casually we view very sexually explicit content even in mainstream media, but of course i'm in my 30's now and tbh i think this content just isn't really for me. I loved the show, was a diehard fan of the original and so i had many moments watching this new version where i was absolutely invested, perhaps even moreso with our main character being Desi and so many first nations and international characters around. But i found myself being quite intimidated by scenes depicting kids who are supposed to be under 18 as far as i can tell, engaging in some very adult sexual behaviour in some very adult settings. Like i said, i guess i'm just not the audience those parts were aimed at.
@@Le_ZAPpeur most shows have an all straight cast, which isn’t realistic either. there are a lot of lgbtq characters in the show, but it’s nice to finally see some representation
No need for season 2. They didn’t even explain why Harper had sex with Amerie’s crush and why she think it was okay for her to have sex with malikai smh she’s the worst.

i wish netflix would've made more ads on the series - it deserves a lot more attention!
I love this show, i got to learn about Australia culture.
not even an aussie but truly loved the series

I’m from NY and all I can say is that this show is amazing! Also gives me euphoria vibes too and sex education!

Will mate, gotta be honest: you look better with hair on your head. But you're still rocking that sexy smile, so it's cool. 😉
They don't get it ...so sad...thats not Heartbreak High...it's something else and I got no problem with that
What is it that they don’t apparently get?
@@jasonlang9074 There's a big difference between the original and this. When Degrassi did their reboot it was marvellous.
@@Le_ZAPpeur is that a good thing or bad thing? i enjoyed the reboot of heartbreak high
@@forgomargo Finally I watched it ...and its good but all the characters are gay... that's not real life!!! It doesn't make sense
