Is this game and Ooblets easier with PC controls or with a controller? I know you said you have started a different Ooblet game on your switch. For these types of games I never know which one they control best on.
@@Raven5666 she mentioned that her biggest issue with switch was the loading times between places (like going into buildings, going from your farm to the town etc). I myself have ooblets on switch and apart from that, I haven't encountered any problems with controls 😊
Personally I prefer mouse and keyboard for Disney, but I’m sure controller is fine too! It’s just that going through menus is quicker when you have a mouse. For Ooblets though, it really doesn’t matter I think, both are completely fine!
Gab, when cooking, you don't have to have the ingredients in your inventory. Any ingredients you put in chests can be used. The same is true of materials when crafting. I myself am already done w/ the star path, so I'm pretty much just doing daily stuff, like collecting from Wall-E's garden, moana's ship, clearing night thorns, opening the randomly spawning loot chests, and checking to see if there's anything new in scrooge's shop. :3
Also, I HIGHLY suggest clearing out all of the trees and rock formations from all the areas, w/ the exception of the small shrubs along the edge of the areas, to provide wood. it makes it easier to see things, and to move around when you're doing the timed coin collecting.
Fun fact about Ursula, she was actually voiced by her original voice actress from the film in this game! Unfortunately, this is the very last time she ever played Ursula because she sadly passed last year.
That’s so sad! She brought a lot to the character. Honestly I was a little shocked when I found out the had used voice actors for the game. At first I just thought they had taken clips from convo in movies etc, and that that’s the reason they didn’t read their dialogue but just said the same few sentences. But the less they say, the less Disney has to pay them, so it makes sense 😅

If I was, it would have been “why the heck is your hair like that, four eyes?” But I didn’t, cause I’m not a bully, at least not intentionally. Tbh, I had no idea how the star rating of the meals worked in Dreamlight until she said it. I guess in a developing way, there could have been another direction to try, but they didn’t. They simplified.
I've "completed" the game as it stands. FWIW: don't bother holding onto any gems with shiny in the name, they won't ever be used to craft with; unlock sunlit plateau and then forgotten realms before other areas if you want to make money fastest--SP has a mine that regenerates almost as fast as you can compete it and FR sells pumpkins which are the biggest money maker crop; plants/trees count as furniture for Scrooge's area main quests so it's easy to place 10; and ALWAYS do all of a single tool activity at once if you can, with an appropriately buffed companion in tow so you double most of your resources! It also builds relationship faster with them to unlock more quests. Who doesn't like getting double gems and crops?

It took me a little bit to get around to watching all these because I don't love Disney, but I am absolutely addicted now. This is my ultimate comfort series. As soon as I have the money, I will be purchasing the game. There is so much to do and its all so satisfying. Please please please play more of this.
You can also relocate the wells if you want to teleport to different locations in each area. This can help with accessing the areas that are blocked like the bridge in the forest of valor.
Yay, more Dreamlight! 🥰 A recommendation: put your festive fish on a table or countertop or something, because when you’re cook ing they can be used up accidentally if you put it in a chest. By putting it on a surface, it will save them from that fate, plus you get to show them off! 😄
idk why but i was fully expecting to see andy's room for toys story TT_TT so i was a bit confused why the walls were green and not the iconic blue wall with white clouds. i just stabbed myself in the heart with that one TT_TT
I have a garden in almost every biome. I would suggest planting in multiples of 6, it makes it faster to water them as that's generally what the watering can covers. Also, onions are a BIG money maker!
Bit of a spoiler. You can move the wells that you fast travel with over to the other side of the forest and access that side that way I accidentally found out they can be moved while decorating and then tested it and that works
You probably know all of this, but just in case, some tips that are good to know and how to get animals as companions/what to feed them: 1: To get Minnie, do the picnic quest with Mickey, next quest after that you get Minnie. 2: Maui can upgrade your pickaxe so you can get rid of the debris on the beach blocking the bridge 3: Delivering food for Remy at the restaurant is a good way to get higher friendships, combine with daily discussions 4: To get the animals as companions, feed then two days in a row. Remember that you have to do it to the color you want as a companion, or every color if you want to choose between all. What, and how to feed them; Squirrels: Favorite food is peanuts, apples also work Bunnies: Follow them when they run, after running back and forth for a few seconds you can interact. Favorite food is carrots, basil also works Raccoons: you know how to approach, feed them blueberries Foxes: same as with bunnies, favorite food is white sturgeon, salmon also works Turtles: stay still until they stop hiding their head, feed them seaweed Crocodiles: same-ish approach as raccoons, favorite food is lobster, another fish from their biome also works Colorful birds: Just stand still for two seconds, they come up to you, favorite food is White Houseleek, other houseleek flowers also work
They have made more updates to the game they have added Simba and Nala just in the last few days and they have also added all frozen characters and Mirabel from Encanto you can also work towards new upgrades and even have more storyline info its a blast they have been adding more and more and they just updated it with Simba and Nala this week not sure how scar is going to like that though
When you need to craft rope/need seaweed you can get it by fishing in places with no bubbles. That took me too long to figure out/I had to ask around to find out.
I finally have this game and so does my husband we both have it on switch we absolutely love it and i cant wait to get stitch if you knew me you would know i have an absolute love of stitch so much so that my christmas was mostly stitch stuff and Studio Ghibli stuff
you can leave the coal in storage and it will still count when cooking anything in your storage will show when you cook so you can keep it in the storage and it will still count
I hope you play this game more regularly, I just watched this whole video and didn't even realize 2 hours have passed, there's alot of quests that I really like so can't wait for you to reach them!
I think Onions and Pumpkins are the best money makers. I've heard about Pumpkins, but I personally grow onion. I spend about $5,000 on getting 100 seeds. Because I keep a companion with me as I harvest, I usually end up harvesting around 200-250 onions. This gets me around $30,000 - $35,000. I know Pumpkins sell for more, but it takes WAY longer to grow and I like quicker turnaround so I can get stuff in the shop. I have a plot near my house and a bigger plot to the left of Kristoff's house. I hope this is useful! I love watching you play!
Don't forget you can use dreamlight for more than just the castle. It can be used for crafting or even for the festivities if you want to turn dreamlight to tokens. It also always allows you to redeem coins back to dreanlight if you have any extras. I'd recommend playing every 5 days for the mystery of the sock quest.. spoiler alert after 3 sets of 5 days you will get stitch. It said it was limited time maybe you can still get him though.
Straight up, watching you play this got me to play it as well and I am having a blast, reminds me so much of Stardew Valley, which I also played thanks to you, so thank you so much.

I actually got all the characters unlocked that are available at the moment except Eric (Ariel's husband) i still need to unlock him, I also unlocked all the biomes that's on the map. I haven't finished the whole game as it stands right now. I also built me a zen garden too. I'm glad I watched you play this game cause it got me to buy it and play it for myself 🥰🥰🥰
here's a fun fact for all you maui fans in the mythology he cant say no to a challenge and climbs up the goddess of deaths hoo ha which causes his death now i bet you will never look at him the same again

The way this game sucked me right in. I was never a fan of Stardew Valley-like games, but I decided to play this one because well... Disney. I'm currently waiting for update because I've done everything there is in the game. It's so soothing, you don't have to think, everything is player-friendly. Loooove it.
Yeah been done with the game as is for awhile I just use the pumpkin hack to buy everything in Scrooge's store daily. Plus FYI you don't need to carry items to cook with they carry over from the storage
I'm still debating if I should get this game now to experience it as it's coming, or if I should wait for the full game to come out for free when it's out of early access! It looks so fun!

This game is good to take it slow I'm almost close in finishing all missions (Stitch included) and there's not much to do after that (Especially with all characters maxed out)

I was just playing this, I loved the festive path, it was soooooo fun, I finished ALL of it. :D... I really hope there is a valentines path next month, possibly belle unlocked, hers would be good for valentines, the rose and all that, a love theme..
I hope they do an update soon too. There's existing achievements that point to at least 3 more characters not in the game, plus the gazillion doors in the castle

Stitch is very tedious to unlock. It takes 10 days JUST to unlock him. I'd look up the tutorial so you don't waste time

I was just playing this, I loved the festive path, it was soooooo fun, I finished ALL of it. :D... I really hope there is a valentines path next month, possibly belle unlocked, hers would be good for valentines, the rose and all that, a love theme..
I hope they do an update soon too. There's existing achievements that point to at least 3 more characters not in the game, plus the gazillion doors in the castle
